Does this mod also add support for (toggle) sprint to be bound to horse gallop and sprint on foot? In game currently, you can only biind the SHIFT key to hold) sprint and gallop at the same time. If you try to change it to toggle, it gets rid of the gallop key altogether which is annoying.
There's a little trick I was able to accidentally discover for sprinting/galloping, and moving around in general. If you have the "Debug Console Enabler" mod (updated one, of course), if you hold down a direction (like W or FORWARD) and/or SHIFT, and then press the console key "~", you'll be stuck moving and/or sprinting in that direction, ONLY if you LET GO of the direction key and/or sprint key BEFORE pressing "~" again to close the console. After that, just use the mouse to change your direction without stopping. To stop moving, just press the direction you started moving in. No more holding down the sprint button! It made sailing around Skellige a lot less boring....but I got my boat destroyed on more than one occasion because of it. XD Damn sirens.
Hey....could you add more? I watch into this myself at the beginnig to remap WASD and some other things.... but could you auto include the take all command (default spacebar) in the jump button? Because I do jump with Numpad0 (left handed) and every time I'll take everything I've to move my hand...this is sooo annoying. Well actually the command itself would be enough for me, but I did not found it -.- Neither am I able to change it manually in the input.settings in mydocuments, because I think there it is reassigned to my jumpbutton Num0...but it doesn't work. So help would be great =) Anyway thanks for the mod. Until today I thought the horse can't jump *mind blown*
As a left-handed person who has the mouse in his left hand, the fixed keys WASD present a challenge and are really uncomfortable to use with the right hand. It's encouraging to see mods that release this limitation. I just hope one comes out soon that completely unlocks all key binds and lets us bind the keys however we wish. Other games do this; it can't be that difficult. 10% of the population is left-handed and probably wishing for this!
True, it is bad form, but this mod does not offer rebinding the movement keys, which is EXACTLY what I was looking to do.
If this mod (and maybe the other author) could work together to extend it to include ALL ACTIONS in the game, that would be awesome, as I dislike having to use a 3rd party website to generate a input.settings file to replace mine.

Well after doing it manually/with other mod game lock nothing, beacuse we can change whole action_set and keys set to it.
The options to play with is very lot, for example I binded signs to 1/2/3/4/5, just pressing '1' select Aard, double tapping '1' select it and cast it after, hold '1' select sign and cast its alternative version. Its working for every sign and items. For now I've only managed for set this working to already equiped items, but its too obvious that its possible to bind keys for fast equiping items to slot1/slot2 and use them after. Its the matter of time when we will see stuff like this. Its PC remember? And for me engine is f*#@ing amazing, people crying beacuse of lack of customization, while we already have it, expect full SDK but all I mentioned is just more like tweaking, not moding. It was obv also that game needed to be optimised for consoles and we know that they are f*#@ing limited if we speak about tweaks like this.
Anyway back into topic, i dont see any match with those two mods, so how its hijacked work? This GUI version is limited to 1key=1action without possibility to make binds for things I've mentioned above.
@ 1teacherr1 - So I am assuming you think I meant he took this mod and used it to make his mod...no, reread my post. I was simply stating someone shouldn't promote their mod in a thread, post or message board of someone elses mod. That's what hijack means in a forum of this kind.
Yea i see it now, I thoguht you mean something like "You steal/hijack his work on mod and comes here and post" Anyway I dont think its bad form of 'promotion' beacuse those mods are different, lazy or people who just wants to make s#*! fast and play will use this. Config, ini, tweaks 'freaks' like me want to configure EVERYTHING the way that want's to, so second mod is the choice. And anyawy we have like 20 uploads in here, I dont think so any mod needs promotion yet, its all displayed on first page. But its just my opinion so no harsh feeling.

Not quite. Vanilla game after 1.04 will let me change "C" to perform another action but it will also still sheath my weapon. Game doesn't give any warning that "C" is still sheath weapon. Drove me nuts till i realized why I kept putting my sword away during mid combat.
Question can I remap the hard coded keys with this mod such as "C" is hard coded to sheath weapon and the vanilla game lets me change it to whatever i want but "C" will ALSO still sheath my weapon. ARRGG! Thanks for any answers.
Anyone playing PC know if you can use this mod to map your left and right mouse keys to movement? Specifically looking for either: Left Mouse to move forward Right or middle mouse to move backward or alternatively hold left and right mouse to move like in an MMO.
Also if the mod doesn't allow this does anyone know if patch 1.04 does?

Do you plan to make a version for the next gen?
Would it be possible to double or triple the same keys?
Example: sprint with gallop etc...
I don't understand why this isn't possible, that's too many keys to manage while certain actions can be linked to the same keys...

More than anything it would be more user friendly than having to go edit the settings files manually.
1. Can you please allow overlap of Interact and Hold Interact with Fast Attack, The Witcher 2 had left mouse interact and it worked beautifully.
2. Another more minor request is the allowing of switching Take All : Space and Take Item : E
2. Hardcoded. Basically, if you see your mouse cursor, there's something hardcoded in there.
Left Mouse to move forward
Right or middle mouse to move backward
or alternatively hold left and right mouse to move like in an MMO.
