Sorry for the delay, my GPU comes from hell I will update my other mods soon
Hi, I have updated the mod for game version 4.04a (Redkit version). Feel free to download and test it if it runs smoothly, I have no merging problem, yet I haven't reached the Blood and Wine quest line. If the author requests, I'll remove the mod. Thanks sortX for providing the code. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Gzz51GNVEyOnNZBliDzYiUAmFNMgGNVG/view?usp=sharing
I brought this mod ready for Next-Gen, I don't have any problems now, but since the compatibility part of this mod depends on vanilla, the mod will conflict even if you are using VladUi, Slots Slots Slots and Extra Skill Slots. Do not use the mod with the mods I mentioned, if you are using the Yellow Mutagens mod, every you have to select the command line of the two mods, if the author gets the mod updated I will remove the mod
The mod does not support next gen, I recommend using the Slots Slots Slots mod instead because it is very old, the mod is completely abandoned and has not received any updates.
can you update this mod to 4.04?, I use Extra Skill Slot and Mutations, (Overleveled) Skill always active mode, I tried the Slots Slots Slots mod before and it conflicts a lot with other mods
I have used Slots Slots Slots mod before, I deleted it because it caused too many conflicts, now I am using Extra Skill Slot and Mutations mode, I am waiting for this mode to be updated, For me, the 4.04 patch of the Select mutiple mutations mod is sufficient. I have previously installed the (Overleveled) Skill always active mode, it becomes active when certain upgrades are reached
Using WolvenKit 7 NGE series (available on github) and its requirements alongside kdiff3.exe (part of Script Merger) I was able to update the mod to be compatible with next gen edition. Thank you for this great mod!
Remember: - To update scripts you need only kdiff3 - To update bundles you need WolvenKit 7 NGE series and its requirements alongside kdiff3
I've had enough of waiting for this or that mod to be updated so I decided to learn to mod the Witcher 3 NextGen Edition and updated the mod "Select multiple mutations" for my personal usage. Honestly, once you get the hang of it, you'd wish you'd started sooner to learn modding.
RN I can update and make almost any mod compatible with next gen edition. You need at max half a day to learn how to mod the game and there's plenty of tutorials all over the net so what are you waiting for, begin your modding journey today!
Hope you enjoy modding the Witcher 3 the way you want it to be! Cheers!
How about you share your updated version you made for yourself, there, guy? Even if it's via DM on dropbox or any method for that matter, i'd love to try out your updated version.
People have been waiting for this update for a long time and it's still not known if it will be. Could you share the updated mod. At least we'd know you weren't fooling anyone
Note: The 3 files above from "MultipleMutation" mod are from an old 1.31 script so we must make them 4.00 first alright, one by one. We are now going to update the file number one "PlayerAbilityManager.ws":
- Launch "kdiff3.exe" located at "Main Script Merger folder\Tools\KDiff3" - In "A (Base)" section, choose file to browse - Then go to this location "Main Witcher 3 install directory\content\content0\scripts\game\gameplay\ability" - Choose "PlayerAbilityManager.ws" then select open - In "B" section, choose file to browse - Then go to this location "Main Witcher 3 install directory\mods\modMultipleMutation\content\scripts\game\player" - Choose "PlayerAbilityManager.ws" then select open - Select "ok" - Select "Merge Current File" located in toolbar - Select "ok" - Select "Merge" located in file menu bar - Select "choose A everywhere" (this makes the "PlayerAbilityManager.ws" inside the mod identical with next gen) (not finished yet)
Now take a closer look at the "B" section located at your upper right. You can see that @sortX has commented on almost every edit that he has made to the "PlayerAbilityManager.ws" file so RN you need to edit the "output" section in the same way as @sortX did:
- Check each and every conflict in the "output" section - Leave them be "A" if you didn't see any "// sortX" comment on the "B" section (to preserve compatibility of the file with next gen) - Edit and change them into "B" if you saw the "// sortX" comment on the "B" section (to make "MultipleMutation" mod work in next gen) - Save and quit the "kdiff3.exe" application
You now have updated the file number one "PlayerAbilityManager.ws" to become next gen compatible. Repeat the same process for the other files in the "scripts" folder inside the mod. That's it.
After that, launch the Script Merger app to remerge if needed. Start the game and let the script compiler do its thing. When reached main menu, exit the game and relaunch it again. Now load a save past the "Professor Moreau" quest and then go to character menu and enable all the unlocked mutations that you want!
Note: For the secondary part, the bundle files, as mentioned in my original post above "To update bundles you need WolvenKit 7 NGE series and its requirements alongside kdiff3" alright. There are plenty tutorials about "WolvenKit" all over the net if you google it.
With a bit of research, you can learn basic functionalities of the "WolvenKit" app (it's an amazing application at what it does, it has to be said) and then you will be able to update almost any mod that you dream of and you won't have to wait for the mod authors to update their mods anymore. They've got things to do IRL too, you know!
Keep learning, get stronger and have a nice day! Cheers!
Do these three files need to be modified? If not, then it will take a lot of time. I'm a newbie, and I spent more than two hours proofreading all three documents.....

Files that you need to make "MultipleMutation" mod work in the character menu in-game:
- scripts\game\gameplay\ability\PlayerAbilityManager.ws
- scripts\game\gui\menus\characterMenu.ws
- scripts\game\player\playerWitcher.ws
