So, version 2.1.0 is now aviable. That version will patch the skellige cards and decks, as well as some other cards. Unfortunately, I couldn't get everything I wanted to to work, so something will be changed in future versions. For more informations, look at the main page.
Notice that Yarpen and Sheldon were moved from the northern deck to the scoiatel deck. If you used them in your northern deck, you have to remove them from the deck yourself, the game will then take care of moving them to the right faction as soon as you close the deck manager.
There's now an article that include all changes and (new) abilties of all cards Just click on articles, or on the link on the main page
If you find anything that's not working, feel free to post it here
Of course I take feedback It's hard to balance such a card game alone, especially since I can't try out every combination of decks/cards/and so on, and I'm also not yet that experienced in balancing stuff ^^
@Bizzarrus I have to admit I haven't checked this mod out yet and it sounds very interesting. But I noticed that you are trying to make Gwent more lore friendly, which was definitely overdue^^
However I want to point out that Yarpen is strongly opposed to the Scoiatel in the books and fights against them in one of Ciri's first battles. So I don't think he belongs in that deck...
@jeffrebe: Oh, thanks for the info! I'm unfortunately not that much into the lore (never read the books...), and as somebody suggested to put Yarpen and Sheldon to the scoiatel (since they're dwarfs), I thought it would be a good idea (I didn't knew it any better^^). I'll undo that change in the next update
One more thing... Since you reuploaded the "restoring missing textures" mod can you integrate that in this mod? I dont seem to get the 4 different textures for the blue stripe for instance. Not sure if you haven't added it or if I installed something wrong. Doesn't work with installing both mods either as that results in about 100 script conflicts with script merger.
That's already planed, yes. I just currently don't have much time to work on the mod, so it may take a while for the next update, but that'll (propably) include all changes of the Restoring Textures Mod
Thanks to adapt this very good mod for Blood and Wine DLC. But can you please upload the "Strong Sorceresses Version" of this mod like Agame did before ? I mean Philippa 15, Yennefer 13, Shila 12, Sabrina 10, Triss and Keira 9, Fringuilla 8 and Assir 9, Ida 9 etc ? Thank you very much.
Wow i havent had that much fun in ages! Just my 2 cents: maybe make regis a normal card so you can accidentally scorch him and get screwed just like with the cow card in the mobile game.
The vanilla version breaks if you get ciri's card or if you remove the mod. Your collection just goes blank. Don't install this mod unless you are sure you won't want to go back to vanilla gwent.
Народ, у кого на некстген не работает этот мод, или ещё хуже пропали карты для выбора, то просто скачайте другой мод на гвинт, он затронет файлы карточной игры, и они снова появятся, у меня помогло с модом "Gwent Redux", а то я через много времени возвращаюсь в игру - а гвинта нету, я уже боялся что не поиграю T.T
Oh my god do you have any idea how overpowered this mod makes Northern K. and Nilfgaard decks..? Every card does everything and it's a total mess with all the spies, summons, decoys and revives it's awful. I appreciate the effort and time invested in this don't get me wrong but OMG you need to spend a lifetime to finish a match even against a common merchant who actually beats you like dirt most of the time.
I don't understand how I get it to work. Should it just give me cards when I install it or do I need to advance the story for the cards to unlock? There is NO description how to get it to work, bad mod is bad.
hmm i just started a new game with this mod, but it changes foltest into yenefer hero card. and i cant use the nothern realms anymore because it doesnt appear. so i can not fight stjepan
This mod f***ed up my game real bad... Even the "vanilla fix" ain't doing anything. Had to start a new game midway through. Thank you for ruining my save. Edit: You want to fix this? Don't worry, I gotchu. If you want to fix the cards vanishing problem after uninstalling this mod then here is the fix (Not really a fix but either this or start a new save, I prefer my solution): _Don't instal the "Vanilla fix" and uninstall it if you already downloaded it. _Install Gwent Redux by Majestic511: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/4287. _Not only does this fix your cards it's also added new cards for your deck. Sound pretty nice huh? What are you waiting for? Click the link above and get yourself the Gwent Redux for only 0.00$. (Also save your's save because if you uninstall the Gwent Redux mod the same thing would probably occur just like this mod which sound bad but hey, you either start a new save or stick to my solution).
