Makes one wonder why CD Project Red decided to degrade pretty decent textures into the plastic looking crap we have in the contemporary live version....
I have to merg this mod with mod merger, but your other retextures for Cat, Gryphon and Bear armor will turn red and blue ingame. How do I solve this issue? Of course I give the armor retextures a higher priority over this mod.
Replace the "Z" in the mod name with an "A" for example the mod name should be "modAOldWitcherArmour" that fixed the problem for me. Note: I didn't try to merge this mod I have it separated at the moment. Edit: not merging this mode particularly made the game load slowly during cut scenes and merging it results in the Kaer Morhen and viper armors having transparent jelly-like covers on the chain mail parts of the chest armors. So until I figure this out I am gonna stop playing with this mode for now.
Replaying W3 in 2022 and I have encountered the orange and blue armor issue as well, but I can also confirm that renaming the mod file name from "modZOldWitcherArmour" to "modAOldWitcherArmour" works! =)
The colors are black not brown in game which spoils the look I wanted. Yes, I did try the old school witcher armors mod with this one but it did not work because script merger was unable to merge the two to make it work.
I downloaded this for v1.31 GOTY Edition As the recommendation I've tried Old Quality Witcher Armours first adding to mod Then after running Script merger as its been my default way of starting the game so ,this mod having a problem kinda thing 'Game is Running' message appear and it's running in the background when Task Manager is taken into action, yet can't bring to front / switch to witcher 3.exe
Then tried Samurai DLC single handedly without Old Armor (not recommended I know) still the same problem So not much of a luck won't be able to get Samurai armor , now removed DLC and Mod , everything back as normal If you found this message try to find out why witcher3.exe (the game itself goes to background application not shown user to play, yet can't bring it to front /not shown on Taskbar as running although it's running in the background applications / can't even switch Alt+Tab)
