I updated the scripts for next gen. It was pretty easy using Kdiff3 from script merger. I didn't test it yet because I'm not done modding my game yet. But it should work, since it's just deleting the path to the soundfiles. I'll obviously take it down if ralphonzolio asks me too.
It works but it's not compatible with Vortex mod manager. You have to unpack it and create folder with the same name or unpack with folder creation. Cause you packed folder as zip and u didn't pack folder inside zip which is imo a mistake and not really optimal. EDIT: And yet still, it doesn't work just tested
In case anyone was wondering, this mod doesn't add any new sounds to the game that the mod author created, it simply changes certain sounds to other vanilla sounds. (By the way, I don't mean to sound disappointed when I say that; I'm glad the author didn't attempt to add his/her own lame amateur sound effects!) :P
Specifically, from what I can glean from the mod's files, some sounds (e.g. new quest and quest completed) are changed to be the sound that plays when you track a quest, which is a much more minimalist sound. Additionally, certain sounds are muted altogether, such as bestiary additions, new diagrams, new items received during a cutscene, and quest updates. And finally, the level-up sound is changed to another vanilla sound (not sure which one yet, I'll have to wait until I level up to hear it.)
That's with the "Proper Journal Sounds" version, by the way. The other one mutes ALL the journal sounds rather than replace them.

A must have for me.
Endorsed!

Edit: my bad, sounds are there but really subtle. Does anyone know the soundevent id for gaining experience points?
