I just installed this mod and everything works besides the mouse being disabled for horse controls. Pretty sure I followed the instructions to the letter, but I wouldn't be surprised if I bungled it. Anyone else have any insight?
Hey im calling for anyone who can code, to isolate/merge this mod.
I want to get the 'horse-realtive camera controls' isolated from this mod to use with vanilla horse controls, and to merge that isolated code with RDR Horse Controls to complete that mod.
Idk how to code but i tried editing text files/manual script merge myself the best i could but i just keep getting Error [modrdrhorsecontrols]game\vehicles\horse\states\exploration.ws(2554): Unexpected end of file found after '{' at line 14

seem to have an issue suddenly, control doesnt do anything anymore, ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting every other mod, resetting the keybinds and editing the input file again, even made a new fresh save but nothing is working
Thank you for adding the vanilla option with the "walk" ability! I was looking for this exact option. It was so annoying that Roach wouldn't calm down and walk normally, especially next to people where trot/canter looks weird.
Maybe it's dumb that I'm even ?commenting this but please I need little help please : ( I REALLY REALLY LOOOOVEEE THIS MOD and this is the one I was wanting for soo long about the horse control but the thing is I really want to use this mod with Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition somehow. I know Enhanced Edition has its own horse control mechanics but is there anyone out there who can help me with this that somehow, anyhow I can use this mod instead of Enhanced Editions horse control please I'm obsessed >.< I am a total newbie with coding and compiling just have some basic ideas for code replacement but got 0 knowledge for creating compilation codes. Any help would be GREEAATLYY appreciated T-T
Awesome mod, horse riding makes a lot more sense now. Would it be possible to enable road following for cantering/holding W down? I tried messing with the "//Enables road following" part of the script but couldn't get it working.
Ive downloaded and tried the mod but figured it wasnt what i really wanted , uninstalled the mod, reversed everything and my camera control is gone for good. Any idea how to fix it ?

There was no conflicts with other mods. Downloaded the "changed horse controls mod" and that mod doesnt specify if it disables mouse control or not but it actually does, At first i thought it was because of your mod but then i quickly realised when i uninstalled his mod i had the controls back. And the author of Changed horse controls mod says "if you turn with the mouse and hold W it should go in that direction".
I know its not your mod but im asking you because you have experience & i downloaded this mod first, maybe altered something the other one doesnt? Dont know what the problem is but i really wanna use it with camera control.
If I understand right, you want the horse to go towards the direction your camera is pointing? Tbh can't remember exactly how the W3 controls worked, but this mod won't do that. I haven't tried Changed Horse controls either, but it doesn't seem to be what you're after either.
This mod disables mouse controls, so what im after is almost what your mod does but without disabling the mouse control. Basically "If I understand right, you want the horse to go towards the direction your camera is pointing?" yeah.
