So if you already have HD Project Rework, which the author himself says is compatible with this, what is the purpose of this mod I'm not trying to be disrespectful to the hard work that went to this, but is there an actual reason to have it along HD rework??
Tessellation of space for the tiling on the ground to give it more geometry 3D not just a texture on a flat surface, next-gen has full 3D maps you can lookup parallax mapping and bump mapping that renders at a point of view to give a 3D effect.
Yeah.. don't download this. For whatever reason this mod (and all the other texture mods from this author) cause massive performance drops. I'll stick with HD Reworked, since it reworks the same stones and comes at a no performance loss.
stick with the 1st iteration of the mod, this one results in a big 20-30 fps drop in some areas, and that's on an RTX 2080, especially in the area shown in the 1st screenshot!
does this only work in very specific parts of novigrad? I just walked around a bit and some places look great but the majority of novigrad is still the same as always which is kinda funny since therell be really nice looking 3d rocks next to paper flat ones that should look the same.
you having issues im not seeing this happen instead im seeing a very transparent layer ontop of the regular texture and although very small i still both notice it and notice that nothing has changed lol using GOTY if that helps
There is bundled non text not mergeable conflict with hd reworked project in script merger, should it be ignored bcz the description says that it is compatible with hdpr.
What is going on with some mesh mods like this one? None of their meshes are uncooked by Mod Merger, only unpacked and file size comes from buffer files. Is this normal? Novigrad Reloaded has some 300MB buffer size file and it merges into identical-sized MergedPack file, so it merges fine, but when I get the pause to open the Uncook folder - its empty.... and the cooked folder is made of tiny mesh files and large buffer files. If I uncook this mod with W3Oven - the total size is over 2GB... And yet plenty of other mesh files from other mods do get uncooked and can be found in uncooked folder... I guess buffer files are the ones creating the meshes when the game loads them?
