but vanilla has better bottom part. HD looks like part of cut texture without attention to detail

Anyone knows if this mod does look better than 4.0's chainmail?

What even make this mod great is the vanilla armour texture has been upscaled in the Next Gen patch.
    So now chainmail looks better.

I didn't look if the mesh files should be updated though.

Mod completely breaks the game. The Game's save file won't load with this mod installed.

This is a great mod, I've used it a lot in the past, but I'm currently having trouble getting this to work with the darker chainmail mod and the new chainmail KM mod, can anybody confirm if those mods should work with the hd chainmail mod? I've tried giving this mod priority over those and vice versa and had no luck so far. Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

This looks great on the pictures, I have downloaded it and I love what I see... The problem is that I run the game at 1080p and everything on ultra but this armor still looks like I was running the game with AA off and 720p and the reason why is because of the texture quality being set on ultra, when I set the texture quality to medium/low it looks great... Is there a way to lower the texture quality of the Kaer Morhen armor alone while everything else remains on ultra? or maybe a mod? Because me, and a lot of people have that problem and we would appreciate some help. And like I said this mod looks really good. Nice job!!

Well I haven't tried the mod yet but going by the way you described it, are you sure it's not just TextureMipBias value that's being the issue? On ultra it's really sharp and kinda annoys me so I've set TextureMipBias=-0.6 in user.settings.

      (That's minus 0.6 not a typo)

I was just about to suggest the same. It is the TextureMipBias setting that is causing the texture shimmering on chainmail. I have mine set at 1 (instead of the vanilla -1) with Sharpening on High. This pretty much fixes the problem.

Fantastic. Thanks a lot, this flickering had always bothered me. I note, for those who come after me: while this setting itself can be adjusted in the mod Tweaks, you need to manually edit the configuration file in order to input the recommended value of 1 -- because in mod Tweaks itself, you cannot select a value above 0.

      Thanks again. :-)
