Anyways, I updated the mod with the new rewards.xml from patch 1.10, I also packed it into a blob.bundle format in accordance to how mods are now installed. Unpack it into your "Mods" folder. That's, for example, steamapps/common/The Witcher3/Mods. If the "Mods" folder doesn't exist, create it. Here is a link to what I fixed...

    Thanks for the update mindkiller316

Also, it doesn't matter if you got your game from Steam, GOG, or Origin. Just unzip and place the "mod_XPmod" folder inside of the "Mods" folder you created and you're done.

Also, this mod only covers the vanilla game. Hearts of Stone and other DLC missions contain their own rewards file. I'll try looking in to the DLC files some time soon.

It's empty. I download and it's empty. I can't see any files there. Help!

Try the download again.  It means that the download was corrupted by your internet connection or browser.  Also, try using Nexus Mod Manager and download using NMM.  It makes life so much more simple and will let you know when downloads fail or are invalid archives, etc.

I'm just looking for a mod that fixes the 25 xp for doing side quests. Level 1 to 2 is 1000xp so thats 40 side quests. What the hell is that? Does this mod fix that or what?

How can I instal this patch in 1.10??

Until this mod is compatible with 1.10, I suggest using this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/820/?

I'd just unpack it anywhere - into an empty folder on your desktop for example. Then find your mods folder, which will already be there in the game if you were using this mod before and simply go through the folders in the mod till you find ones named the same as these new ones and replace them.

      Thanks for the update mindkiller316

The "Mods" folder needs to be created in your main game directory "The Witcher 3" or it may also be called "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt". This will be the location where you installed the game. You'll see other folders inside of it like "bin", "content", " DLC " etc.
Also, it doesn't matter if you got your game from Steam, GOG, or Origin. Just unzip and place the "mod_XPmod" folder inside of the "Mods" folder you created and you're done.
