The Enhancement System Full Readme

This readme is a compilation from the smaller,more specified readmes and HORRIBLE to read,as it has just too much infos integrated.You can read everything what is written here on my Nexus Page too.You were warned.

Changelog/Integrated Mods:

Version 2.5
-Mod translated into Spanish,Czech,Italian,Russian,Polish,France,Portugese/Brazilian,German,Arabic - You DONT need Custom Localization Fix anymore or change scripts.Mod runs on its own.
-Made the money carry weight introduced in Version 2.5Preview much more lighter
-Took away the treasure maps from the loot,cause their dropping couldnt be controlled.The book merchant in Novigrad has them all now - to an accurate price,worthy of a real treasure map you desire
-Several bugfixings
-adjusted the general loot drop rate,that you aren`t spammed anymore with my items - now they are really treasures!
-Created a mod menu
-Animations for Potion drinking and Oil applying to swords added

Version 2.01
-Changed treasure map gwent rewards back to just card rewards,as it wasnt functional.Treasure maps are now loot randomly to find in the world
Changed a lil bit about Vesemirs blades and its drop rate

Version 2.0
Major Update,several changes:

-added new optional versions
-gave dwimeryte ingots to hattoris selling inventar
-added several new NPC weapons
-added many new quest rewards - some of them are bound to how the quest ends
-added the possibility to get already upgraded swords from rare strong monsters
-enhanced the loot drop rate and added 113 new diagrams
-gave missable quest gwent cards to the gwent vendor,you can buy them on a specific level to prevent gamebreaking mechanics.Now he has all gwent cards,so if you missed the reward,you can get it there.


-Changed vendors: Hattori sells now all relic weapons(on a specific level,to prevent buying before getting weapon by quest),Yoana sells kaer morhen armor,and Loan Shark Pawn Shop sells all schematics(on a specific level,to prevent buying before getting schematic by quest).
Kaer Trolde Vendor is gone.
-Took buyable witcher gear treasure maps away from Vendors,you can just buy wolf gear maps.Everything else are gwent rewards now,from special opponents you can match on the witcher gears required level.
.Added a 3rd and 4th upgrade for Aerondight,as it was special in Witcher 1
-Integrated first starting Armor.Kaer Morhen armor has now 4 upgrades.
-Added one more viper blades upgrade,and scaled first one back to vanilla,to use them with first Kaer Morhen Armor
-Gave Ultimate Aerondight/Kaer Morhen stuff/Scythe/and Mj�lnir the possibility to have eternal upgrades by dismantling them.On this way item will instantly be reproduced adjusted to your level.Makes it possible to play the whole game and even NG+ with your Kaer Morhen/Aerondight
-several bug fixes
-and maybe stuff I`ve forgotten right now
-Changed Weapon Names from Upgrade 2 weapons which have no 3rd upgrade from superior to mastercrafted,to implement that they cant be upgraded anymore
-Made diagrams more expensive

Version 1.8
Added 16 new relic weapons to blacksmith in Kaer Trolde
Fixed New Game + schematics,as they needed normal game before upgraded weapon on highest Upgrade.This was a big bug which caused extremely upgrading problematics.

Version 1.7
Fixes the issue that you couldn`t upgrade your new stuff on highest stage properly,by changing some crafting materials
Fixes big issue that ALL New Stuff was gone when going over from normal game to NG+

Weapon and Armor Guide:


Upgrades:

-Witcher Gear: Can only be obtained through loot/quest rewards.You WON`T get the "Enhanced Diagrams" by dismantling,you have to search for them.

-Relic Blades: You will get the "Enhanced Diagrams" by dismantling the loot original counterpart of it.All diagram stages above have to be obtained by questing/looting.

-DLC Armors and Crossbows: You will gain all upgrade diagrams by dismantling each stage.Be aware,that the next upgrade will have a higher lvl.requirement as the parts you are dismantling in that moment.

-HoS Items: have to be dismantled to get the next stage of the item.You will find NO diagrams or advanced stages of this items.Just buy the first stages of the items from Yoana,and then you can dismantle them for the next stage.Be careful,the next stage has a new lvl.requirement!

-Infinite upgrades: Some things have infinite upgrades.That means,you can keep those things forever,as you can upgrade and adjust them to your level when you need to.This works by dismantling the item.Integrated in this system are:

-The last upgrade stage of the complete Kaer Morhen Armor (Legendary)

-The last upgrade stage of Aerondight/Maugrim (The Legendary Aerondight)

-My added Scythe (The Grim Reaper:Thanatos)

-My added Hammer (Mj�lnir)

-Son of Sparda Sword

-Rebellion

-Jon Snows Longclaw

-and all HoS add-on weapons



Shops:

-The saved Griffin Merchant: He sells you the vanilla temerian armor.

-The Gwent Card Merchant: The Inkeeper in the tavern on the crossroads will sell you 81 cards right in the beginning of the game.That means,you can play much earlier with other decks than your temerian.Buying those cards will break no quests.When you reach lvl.35/67 NG+,he will begin to sell you all QUEST CARDS.This is for those,that have lost some games or missed the quests somehow.Those of you who wanna do their gwent quests,I suggest not to buy those cards.I`ve never tried,but I could imagine it will break the quests.Please understand,that I can NOT bring a list of what are quest cards and what not,as this are nearly 100 cards or more.Maybe sometime.

-Yoana @Red Barons quarters: She has the Enhanced Version of the Kaer Morhen Armor,for those who have already selled their starting Kaer Morhen Armor.Also she has Jon Snow`s Longclaw and all HoS items to sell.

The Red Barons quartermaster: He will sell you the vanilla Nilfgaardian Armor as well as the crossbow.

-Hattori in Novigrad: He sells you ALL relic Blades in its original form,as well as custom weapons. Custom weapons can be obtained mostly right from the start,if I haven`t added them as quest reward.Relic Blades will show up when you reach lvl.27/50 NG+,quest reward weapons show up when reaching lvl.30/55 NG+.Also I have added Dwimeryte ingots to his inventory,so that you don`t have to travel to skellige everytime.

-Loan Shark Pawn Shop in Novigrad: He sells ALL through my mod added diagrams for an expensive price.Upgrade diagrams till lvl.2 can be obtained right from the start when meeting him.Stronger/quest added diagrams will show up once on lvl.20/45 NG+,and again on lvl.30/55 NG+.

-High Class Merchant in Novigrad: He sells you the elven crossbow.

-Kaer Trolde Armorsmith: He sells you the Undvik Armor.

-Kaer Trolde Blacksmith: He sells you the Undvik Crossbow.



Upgrade List for all pieces:

2 upgrade stages:

Crossbows and every relic blade which isn`t listed in another category.

3 upgrade stages:

Vesemirs Blades,Teigr,Nilfgaardian Armor,Undvik Armor,The Emmentaler,Winter Blade,Princess Xenthias Sword,Wolf,Mourner,Lune,Dancer,Silver Wolf,Arainne,Reach of the Damned,Azures Wrath,Tlareg,Negotiator,Loathen and Naevde Seidhe.

4 upgrade stages:

Temerian Armor,Kaer Morhen Armor,Tor Lara,Tor Zirael,Aerondight,Dark Wolven Swords,Son of Sparda Sword,Rebellion and all HoS add-on stuff

Infinite Upgrades (Special Feature)

Kaer Morhen Armor,Aerondight,The Grim Reaper:Thanatos,Mj�lnir,Son of Sparda Sword,Rebellion,Jon Snows Longclaw and all HoS add-on weapons.



Issue&Troubleshooting Section



I dont see any names...or something like that:

You probably have not downloaded Custom Localization Fix mod or are using a modified localization.ini.Make sure that you are using my mod with the right settings.



I dont know where to buy treasure maps since using your mod:

All treasure maps (but without the Wolf Gear ones) can be bought from the Book merchant @ the Hierarch square in Novigrad.But now they will cost you real money,not just the 50 gold you spent before for it.This is because they offer you the way to the most powerful items ingame,that shouldn`t be something that you can get by the way without thinking about it.



I see negative amounts of repairing status:

Use a repairing kit.Once you do that,item will stay forever on 100%



My inventory is too full:

Mod adds carry weight to money.Go and store your money in the players chest,you can find it in the "others" tab.



My upgrade has less rune slots than loot original:

This is because you are using this mod on an existing save.All relic weapons you`ve already found,will stay on vanilla values.Nothing I could do there.



Weapon x/y isn`t lore-friendly,could you please remove it?:

No,I won`t.If you dont like it,there is a simple solution for that: Dont use this weapon



Known issues(nothing big):

Imleriths Mace,Caranthirs staff,the Scythe and one Wild hunt axe are clipping into the ground sometimes while using.That can`t be changed simply because the weapon models are too big.The Wild Hunt is just to grown up for Geralt.



Since V2.5 you have access to your money in the inventory.A little bug comes with this:you can buy traders money.But since its just an 1 to 1 exchange,that doesn`t make sense anyway.So please ignore it



The value amount slider of the stash brings a little bug that if you stash something,your cursor is gone.Just move the controller stick or mouse and it will appear again.

If you have to do a manually merge with ScriptMerger,try this:
(BCE and Scrabbard mods are just an example)
Well it appears as though I have solved the issue.
Just FYI if you wanted to know and for anyone else trying to merge BCEv with The Enhancement System (TES):
1. Uninstall relic weapons redone as per Mange's instructions.
2. Run script merger to delete the old mergers and repack the bundle.
3. Run the game and create a fresh save.
4. Install TES using NMM.
5. Run script merger again.
6. The only two conflicting mods that I had to manually merge were "All NPC Scabbards" and BCEv.
6a. In the case of NPC Scabbards, Scabbards was allocated to line A and TES to line B.
6b. Insert line B (TES) into any unresolved conflict. Do not insert any A lines.
7a. In the case of BCEv, vanilla was allocated to line A, BCEv to line B, and TES to line C.
7b. Just like step 6b, insert only TES (C) lines into any unresolved conflict. Do not insert any A or B lines.
That's it.
Check that TES is working by firstly going to any craftsman and making sure that all the menus are visible. Secondly, dismantle any relic sword and check that the schematic has been added to your list of craftable items.

Known incompatible mods:

Most of the E3 Retextures.For compatibility contact those mod Authors,as it is much easier on their side.Ask if you can get textures without binded stats and it will work (if you get some).My optional file without DLCs will solve those issues at least for Wolf School DLC.



My other mod, "The Gwent Card Dealer",as he is already integrated.



All integrated mods of the version you are using.



When updating from previous version dont forget:

Delete the old modEnhancementSystem and re-merge your mods properly,otherwise new systems may not work correctly and you report non-existent errors.Please check first if you did everything correctly before reporting an issue,thanks.



Version 2.5 manually merges:

With 2.5 Preview version,there were a lot of things that came new to the mod.Scripts are one thing of that.As TES already contains a lot of features,there will be a lot of needed merges displayed in Script Merger.Most of them are auto-solvable and you just need to enter.However,if it comes to a manually merge,ALWAYS select the lines from TES window(you`ll know what I mean when it comes to this),save it,exit kdiff and let the merges go on.



Version 2.5 Script Compilation Errors:

Item Spawn Codes

Each Item can be spawned via debug console.The codes need the inverted commas in the brackets,or they wont work.
Here is an example of how a code has to look like:
