I did everything according to the instructions, but unfortunately the quest is not displayed. It is not clear what the reason could be, the priority has also been raised higher.
It was a nice quest. I do think that it is a bit too similar to the one already existing in the game. Maybe make a side part of the quest about looking for the person that is selling recipes for witcher potions to make the moral dilemma a different one and not about the question if the potion should be given to the girl. Especially since this does not seem to show the consequences of that decision. I do give credit for having an alternative ending if you are not rescuing the husband quickly enough. That is a nice touch.
I like your idea of finding the person sell the recipe. Actually, I did consider that early, but for some reason, I had to short it (so much idea fighting in my head, first time creating my mod, i dont wanna make it too complex). Sorry. About the part of whether to give the potion to the girl, Maybe your're right, player need to know what will happen after making choice, but what I was thinking was, 'What if Geralt is just a passerby?' I don't want player to reload the save file just because they thinking they make the wrong choice(like the quest[On Death's Bed]), there is no wrong choice. both are meaning in my way. it is more like an open ending.(i'm not sure i'm saying it right) Anyway, I'm glad you enjoy it. Sorry, I don’t know how to extract dialogue from the files, I haven’t added voice-over, so I need to ensure that different language versions have the same string count.
I downloaded, installed, and enabled the mod using the Vortex mod manager, but cannot get the quest to start. Yes, I have talked with Elsa at the in and Tamira the herbalist. The only 'vanilla' quest I have not done is to kill the griffon. Everything else in White Orchard is complete. I have walked through the area shown in your map photo at all different times of day, but find no marker or quest giver.
I double checked the mod install, and everything looked correct. I then disabled every other mod (I had 4 others enabled) and tried again. This time it worked. Interesting little adventure. When I get time, I will try again and see which mod, or mods, kept yours from working. I think that may be the problem some of the other commenters are having (mod conflicts). Also, when I do play through again, I can send you edits of the dialog so it is correct (words, syntax, etc.).
I realized that due to some design issues, very few players can trigger the ending if Dervan dies. Yes, even if Dervan dies, the quest will not fail (but escape will). Players can enter different endings.
I've played it and it's pretty good for a first try. Too short, for sure. You should work a little on english grammar so dialogues would look better. And definitely try adding some journal entries, Maybe it's problem on my end, but for me in journal there are only quest objectives. Again, It's good first try. Are you working on anything else?
