Great mod, exactly what I've been looking for! Would it be possible to create the same mod but for weapons? Im using the forgotten wolven and hate the scabbards and hilts on those, would be great if I could change their look to a different one!
Thanks for your feedback! WPIAO doesn't support weapons. Weapons are not outfits. Support for weapons isn't added through the means I've made for WPIAO. It could be a journey in itself on making support for weapons, and I'm far from seeing the shore in that journey.

Well, this is very strange, as 'OnCloseMenu' exists in vanilla files in inventorymenu.ws but I have possible explanation, it may become 'not exists anymore' if W3EE deletes that function by directly editing vanilla files (this is really bad practice!) This means WPIAO seems to be incompatible with W3EE, and maybe I can look on whether it's possible to provide a patch, but I can't give any promise
Think I've found a fix for this. It's Wmk quick inventory removing the functions by replacing the CR4InventoryMenu. Fix: Open inventoryMenu.ws in W3EE and rename WmkCR4InventoryMenu to CR4InventoryMenu. Should read class CR4InventoryMenu extends CR4MenuBase // -= WMK:modQuickSlots =-
Open wmkQuickSlotsInventory.ws in W3EE and swap WmkCR4InventoryMenu with CR4InventoryMenu on line 2. Should read class WmkCR4InventoryMenu extends CR4InventoryMenu Done.
First line in wmkQuickSlotsInventory.ws reads "// Replacement for default inventory menu class. I don't know if it was a smart idea..." which is pretty funny.
If you've merged inventoryMenu.ws make sure you're editing the merged file, also make sure you're editing wmkQuickSlotsInventory.ws and not wmkQuickInventory.ws
I did what uynnr said, you need to change the merged files too. In my case I had to edit inventoryMenu.ws, wmkQuickSlotsInventory.ws and the inventoryMenu.ws found in the Merged Files folder (\The Witcher 3\mods\mod0000_MergedFiles\content\scripts\game\gui\menus).
This mod is awesome. It's essentially the outfit system they added to Cyberpunk. One of the few dislikes I had/have about the game is Geralt doesn't look like a badass witcher once you start mixing armor pieces together, especially early game. This fixes that and now my early/mid game Geralt looks cool. Thank you!

This mod is really great. I did have an idea that I'm not sure of the feasibility on, I just did "A Matter of Life and Death" and Triss comments as if you didn't dress up for her if you don't actually equip the items and instead use your mod. Not sure if that's a feature you could add or not, but otherwise this mod works really well. Good job and Thanks!

You're absolutely right to notice that โ during quests like A Matter of Life and Death (and similarly, in The King is Dead โ Long Live the King for Yennefer), both Triss and Yennefer expect Geralt to be properly dressed with the exact items they like, equipped in the main armor slots โ not just visually overlaid with outfits ๐โจ
Since my mod doesn't change the way those quest scripts detect clothing, Triss will only comment positively if you're truly wearing what she expects ๐ So yes, for those special moments, it's best to dress to impress โ for real! ๐

This doesn't seem to be mentioned in the description. So, are the glowing eyes from the active medallion + wolf medallion mods supposed to be working properly with the compatibility patch?
Or is the glowing eyes functionality not supported by it? Because for me the medallion gets replaced with the glowing eyes model when having chest armor outfitted on top of an equipped one.

Sorta of. WPIAO doesn't change how medallion eyes work, it is entirely on Active Medallion mod's side. The compatibility patch prevents glitch of the medallion that would happen if it wasn't updated after equipping an outfit. However, the medallion eyes glowwhen there is some strong magic detected.โจ And WPIAO was made using ancient black magic ๐ฎ๐, so when using this mod, the medallion eyes always glow. WPIAO does nothing to make the eyes glow, and does not interfere with Active Medallion mod's glowing eyes logic... I can't know if it can be made so Active Medallion would make an exception for my black magic.
Makes complete sense! I wonder how i didn't realize this. Must have been blindsided by how great this mod is, i guess. ...or perhaps it was the mighty black magic emanating out and interfering with my cognitive abilities... spooky!

Oh not at all- it seems like some modded "mask" items like crach fur mantle and skelliger hat + B&W DLC tournament laurers been conlicting and totally refusing to show up together in-game world, ( seems like one been overwriting other and totally hides in game) whereas in invetory screen shows up as equipped and blended together. As i said noting too biggie considering mod was made with vanilla +DLC's in mind and can not account for all possible other authors work. Ok, thanks for providing this information! I'm already trying to figure something out, however, if you be so kind to provide a little more additional info, this could help a lot! Thanks again for your patience. So the more info that could help is the following:
- How exactly do you test these items from Hoods and Masks and Hats mod together? Do they belong to different slots? Or do you use some other mod to give more slots than there are? - What we need to confirm with WPIAO is if some item can be equipped to different slots, the right slot is chosen. So please can you provide with additional info on what exact slots the items in question are equipped in? And how exactly you want to use WPIAO features for these items, what outcome do you expect?
Snot a problem, your vigorous patience already proves that this mod is brilliant not only by function but by mod author as well ... so... - When equipped with "toussaint tourney laurels" ( witch occupies mask slot ) and tryng to preview and use "crach Fur mantle" from "new masks and hats" - it seems that fur mantle overrides head gear and make it invisible, since both use same mask slot only matle being as "armor" ( at least it shows in armor inventory. same goes for hoods, equipping "proffessors glasses" , "laurels" as in vanilla ( just equiiping in mask slot ) and the using your mod to "preview" and use hood - hood seems to ovverride headgear and make f.ex. glasses dissapear. - I haven't used any other mask slot mods, vanilla as it goes , just more item mods as stated before ( "hoods" , "more masks and hats" ) . That said - no pressure - as said yours, as mod author, patience and willingness to improve mod on it self is a mark or quality, really no need to grant resolve to strangers nitpicking other than fulfill your own goals with great mod. Well, I see the intent, it's clearly to wear several items together, and clearly WPIAO works as advertised, it hides the one equipped item and shows the outfitted item (that is being previewed) instead of it. It is because these items occupy the same slot, WPIAO doesn't make these items 'appear together'.
While it's definitely possible to make such items appear together, it's not the advertised behavior of WPIAO. Maybe another mod that would add more slots to wear accessory/mask items would help.
If you see such mod and have a chance to try it with WPIAO, I'd be happy to receive feedback, whether it'd work or not.
Maybe this one Accessory Slot Mod by eNoodles I think though it has not been updated for Next-Gen by the author but there might be a 3rd party update in posts section by froilan14344
