Just completed my first play-through and using this as my "fear has lifted" ReShade after saving Ciri. Loving it thus far, still adventuring in the main storyline post-Wild Hunt - great ini!
+ Fullscreen: v-sync off and Borderless or v-sync-on and Fullscreen (less demanding) + Gamma: leave it in the middle (normal) + Anti-aliasing: off + Sharpening: off + Motion Blur: off + Blur: off + Shadows: depends on your rig, if your pc can handle it than obviously higher + HBAO: tunr it on, far right rec. but has quiet the perf. impact + Dof: I prefer it off (less blurry distance when off, also perf. increase)
This should be enough to have a nice clean look, you can gain also 10-15fps more by deactivating those things
Also ''Ultimate Lightning Mod'' is recommended to increase the view distance/ reduce distance fog, check the screenshot in the images for my settings.
Cool presets, but I think in the "classic" (I do not use the other), it is necessary to reduce the red hue (I have a calibrated monitor). In some places very visible.
Best Reshade ever but doesn´t work with new 1.3 patch you get stuck on the infinite loading screen. Please update your reshade so we can see Witcher in his full beauty again
Really, are you sure other mods that are installed aren't causing this issue for? I haven't updated to 1.3 yet because many other mods I'm using aren't supported right now.
I someone else can confirm that this is the case, please reply here, then I will update it this weekend.
I'm using the mod with the 1.22 patch and it seems to work BUT I don't see the in-game menu for tweaking it as shown in the screenshots. Is there a way to fix that?
Nice! Only one problem, unable to take a screenshot on steam for some reason, it's like the mod disables the function of steam entirely. Any suggestions?
I managed to somehow solve it. I added "#pragma reshade screenshot_location " DESIRED LOCATION With / instead of \" ( example of desired location: "C:/Users/username/Desktop/w3screenshots" ) into Global_settings files, which is located in "C:\Program Files\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64\SweetFX". In game then you can pres PrntScrn button two times to take 1 screenshot. It's a lame solution though.
I'm tempted to replace my current reshade with yours just to kneecap that piss yellow haze in Toussaint...
1. Seriously, what in the hell was CDPRed thinking when they did that... 2. Awesome job making it bearable!
Those screens look great. Not only did you do a good job avoiding black-crush, you seem to have done a good job in avoiding white-blowout. And THANK YOU for not slathering on aggressive, overbearing Depth of Field, Chromatic Aberration, Film Grain, and every of blurring effect known to man. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone thinks those effects make an image look better.

Are there any recommended lighting mods to go with this?
I am just curious what is your recommendation setting?
Example,
In-Game Setting:
+ Fullscreen
+ Gamma:
+ Anti-aliasing:
+ Sharpening:
+ Motion Blur:
+ Blur:
+ Shadows:
+ Fullscreen: v-sync off and Borderless or v-sync-on and Fullscreen (less demanding)
+ Gamma: leave it in the middle (normal)
+ Anti-aliasing: off
+ Sharpening: off
+ Motion Blur: off
+ Blur: off
+ Shadows: depends on your rig, if your pc can handle it than obviously higher
+ HBAO: tunr it on, far right rec. but has quiet the perf. impact
+ Dof: I prefer it off (less blurry distance when off, also perf. increase)
This should be enough to have a nice clean look, you can gain also 10-15fps more by deactivating those things

That's it!
Could you try using the old ''classic'' framework (the one that is 884kb big) and see if it makes any difference?
They should be very much the same, but just in case
