Why make this mod? It was the combination of me working on bigger mod involving similar stuff and my slight disgust towards ordinary NPCs wearing clothes that are mostly worn by sorceresses in game. And while I overall liked the original design, I believed there could be slight changes made to put more emphasis on their position as daughters of Nilfgaardian ambassador.
Genetics are responsible for the predisposition to freckles, not their main cause. It is lifestyle and mainly exposure to the sun that determines freckles. Therefore, even identical twins would not have the same pattern of freckles. (moles are usually given by genetics) This is why I made Edna and Rosa not share the same head, but instead gave each a different one (same mesh - 3D model), with a slightly altered texture and fewer freckles for Edna. Why Edna? It seems that Rosa is the one more invested in going outdoors and spends less time with books and banquets.
As I meantioned before, I wasn't keen on Edna wearing sorceress skirt, so now she has one that is more in terms of regular fashion of noblewoman in that area. With slight pattern to make it look less ordinary. I also changed the color for the gem in earrings to match the red in necklace.
Rosa's neck is cover, but she does have jewelry on her hands. Why keep wristband, but no earrings when both could fall? So I gave her earrings, but a tiny ones which would not interfere in combat. Making her gambeson in colors of Nilfgaard seemed like obvious choice, but it felt a bit empty and not personalized. So a relativly small sun on the fabric finished the look.
Well, they are Nilfgaardian. And no, I don't believe you could do that. As far as I'm aware, all textures are baked into 1 file. I might later release them separately.
Attre was Nilfgaardian for like 10 years by then (judging by how old Ciri is in game). And the game heavily suggests that Rosa endorse Nilfgaard and Emhyr as she hopes he'll win the war against the filfthy North to teach them manners. Not to mention the Nilfgaardian guards and huge portrait of 'the white flame dancing of the graves of his foes' in the room where Rosa is fencing.
