Someone made an official mod for this (with some extra features) which works with the Blood and Wine patch. It's better than the file that I made, because it also makes it so that you can't see the herbs icons on the map (which would indirectly give away your location).
So I would recommend switching to that mod instead of using my file.
I made some edits to the MapMenu file, and the mod now seems to work for me in 1.21 (Blood And Wine DLC).
The new MapMenu file can be downloaded here:
http://speedy.sh/vzGrQ/MapMenu.ws ( USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! )
How to install: Simply replace the "MapMenu" file with the one above. The location of this file should be something like this: (at least if you have the game on Steam):
DISCLAIMER 2: I have literally 0 experience with this kind of stuff. So the file above might not work at all for you. It could also potentially crash/corrupt your game saves! (That probably wont happen, but as said: I have never done anything like this so who knows...) For me it seems to work just fine, but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
There might also be some bugs with my file that I don't know about yet. For example, I don't know if it works in the new area that is introduced with the Blood and Wine DLC (I have not gone there yet).
Also, xxTheGoDxx you can (if you want to) use my file to update the mod with so that it works with 1.21. However, you're probably better than me at this kind of stuff, so you could also just make your own version .
normally you wouldnt find your way and impossible to progress the game as you cant find the right NPC to talk to even youre in the same village, i tried and failed, but with friendly ui's witcher sense 3d marker, this works perfectly, i can now finally start my immersive play

You say one can remove Roach position on map as well by activating a roach filter. How do I do this?
Thansk!
