I noticed that in addition to the obvious changes, i.e., path to the icon files customized, some of the swords (when compared to vanilla files) are changed from "Relic" to "Set_Item" in the relevant xml file. What's the reason for this?
I use Stack your Items too and there are not merge conflicts.
About Alchemy, I don't use it, so I'm not sure how the two run together, but I'm only editing lines affecting icons. It should be as easily merged as the other.
So I was too hasty with my conclusions about Stack Your Items. Conflicts only with Alchemy, I figured out how to combine them correctly, but it's a long process.
This is such a wonderful mod. I particularly love what you did with the recipe icons. The runestone ones are so great too because I can just know at a glance what tier it is. It seems as though based on the description you plan to do even more. I'm excited to see your updates as I'll be playing this for quite a bit since I really enjoy taking my time with any games I play. Thank you so much for making this.
You should make a version for W3EE Redux : I've got only the icon_recipe.png on merchant screen whatever the recipe. For the runes, it works perfectly ^^
I've only edited PNG icon files and XML source item definitions, everything under vanilla game conventions.
I don't use total overhaul mods (gameplay like the one you are referring to, or user interface like in example Vlad UI), and I don't know how differently they manipulate these XML files compared to vanilla.
That mod has 12 separate versions. Considering my future plans for this mod, where I will probably give some alternative options myself, it is not really feasible to multiply them by a twelve factor.
You can probably use your preferred version of that mod together with mine and give it priority, you will likely not encounter issues (the version I included only edits PNG files, no text)
Looks great. Small QoF feature. May I ask, could you make a separate version witout the rune stones for those who already use another version of the other mod?

Now you can pick what you need and mix with other mods if you want.

Are you experiencing some specific issues?

This will reduce mod conflict and with that, I can add once again to Essential Mod List.
At the moment the only permission that I received was for the runes
