It's not scripts, but bundled files.
You should use Wolven Kit, for example, in order to edit those values.

Great idea, I have been looking for a mod like this for a long time! Igni is too much overpowered.
I think that also Pyromaniac need to be nerfed, as in this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/10076?tab=description
What do you think?Could be possible add also this to your mod?

    Thanks!!

I don't get it. Fire is supposed to be overpowered. It's fire. Just avoid using Igni if you don't like that fire acts like it's meant to. I don't mean to sound harsh; I just don't understand the point of nerfing something that nobody is forcing you to use.

A build based on Geralt from the books would barely use Igni, I think that you may enjoy that! Maybe a mod that augments Aard and Yrden would be fun to try!

I'm really trying not to yuck your yum, and I don't want you to get discouraged from modding from what I've said. I just struggle with this specific mod on a conceptual level.

The argument where you said "Don't like it, don't use it" is so moronic and doesn't make any sense. Igni is part of Geralt's arsenal (don't give a s#*! how he in the book plays out, this is the video game) and part of the gameplay mechanic in combat, why the hell wouldn't you use it? If i bought a game using my hard earned money, i'm sure as hell gonna use whatever feature and mechanic the game has.

Using your same logic, then why should i use meditation, decoctions, potions, etc if i could just use Igni and i can beat 100% of the enemies in game cheaply even in the highest difficulty?

Beside, i agree with the OP that Igni is waay to overpowered in the game. Even in vanilla, if you upgrade Igni to the fullest a simple Igni blast at Death March would whittle Monster's health by 75% in just a press of a button.
No mod came close to actually recognize this problem, and i'm glad OP create the mod.
