About this mod

Hide "Tutorial" entry from the in-game menu

Permissions and credits
Changelogs
A very simple mod that hides the tutorial panel from the ingame menu.

This sub-menu is probably useful only during the first playthrough, but can quickly become unnecessary clutter.

Installing this mod hides it from the UI, both
  • on the main  in-game menu entries
  • on the top "dot" pagination when inside one of the panels

Starting from version 1.1.0, instead of completely disabling the panel, its visualization is tied to the vanilla "Gameplay>On-screen Tutorials" setting: turning this on/off also respectively enables/disables it.

The "tutorial" entry on the main menu (the one accessed by pressing ESC) has not been touched, thus is still present also when the in-game menu entry is disabled. This is to ensure compatibility with all main menu mods out there.

Game version

This mod was created for and tested with the latest released version: Next-Gen 4.04 Redkit Update 2

I don't use or support older game versions, especially Old-Gen v1.32. I simply have no time or interest to do so. I won't accept any requests about this, if you want to use my mods, your best option is to update your game.

Installation

The recommended way to install this is with "The Witcher 3 Mod Manager"

You can alternatively also manually place it inside your "mods" folder inside the main game directory

Compatibility

This should be compatible with everything, as it only edits a single line (by commenting it out) in the following file:

/content/scripts/game/gui/menus/commonMenu.ws

Make sure to merge it with Script Merger and you should not have any kind of problem.
