Welcome to our localization project! We greatly appreciate your willingness to contribute to our project, helping more people use our software in their native languages.

Part One: Why Localization Files Have a Higher Version Than the Release Version

To ensure that all users can get the latest features and accurate translations of information at the first time, our localization files have a slightly higher version than the released software. This means we start preparing for localization before new features or updates officially go live. The main considerations for this approach include:

Ensuring Localization Does Not Lag Behind Version Releases: We want global users to enjoy every update simultaneously without delays due to language issues.
Addressing Issues Ahead of Time: By starting localization early, we can identify and resolve potential issues related to language expression and terminology consistency ahead of time, thereby improving the quality of the final product.

Part Two: Guidelines for Operating Localization Files

Our localization files are provided in the form of two Excel workbooks. Please follow these guidelines strictly to ensure data consistency and accuracy:

Do Not Modify File Formats: The structure of the files is carefully designed to meet the needs of automated processing. Any changes in format could lead to errors during subsequent processing.
Adding New Languages: If you need to add support for a new language, please follow these steps:
In each workbook, find the last column and add two new columns after it.
The header for the first new column should be set as "Comment" for storing background information or other notes necessary for translating the text in that row.
The header for the second new column should be the code of the new language (e.g., es for Spanish) where the specific translation content of that language will be filled in.

Thank you again for your participation and support. Let's work together to make this project even better!
