If you are having troubles getting the mod to run or run correctly, make sure you read this article because it contains some valuable information that could determine if the mod runs correctly. This applies for script errors, armor rating not updating, or anything else that could go wrong.
Some of this may seem like common sense, but it never hurts to check.
1. Make sure the right folder is in your games "mods" folder.
It can't hurt to check and make sure the folder is in the correct place.
From your <Game Directory>\mods\ folder, make sure the Leveling Starting Armor folder is named "modStartingArmor_*******" With ****** being the version of mod you have downloaded. If the name of the folder in this directory is "StartingArmor_*******" then the correct folder may be inside of that folder.
2. If you downloaded a newer version of this mod, make sure you delete the old version or remove the old version from your mods folder.
It may seem like you can keep the old version and new version of the same mod in your mods folder, but sometimes there are important updates that change the way the mod gets information from the scripts and these changes will not always be compatible with each other.
So if you have a newer version, make sure the older version is not still in your mods folder.
If you use the Nexus Mods Manager, Make sure you click the disable button for the old version after updating (The red circle with a line through it).
3. Make sure the "modStartingArmor_*******" in your mods folder has all of the correct files within is.
If you manually installed or copied the mod over to your mods folder, you may have forgotten to copy over some files.
Go through the mod in your "mods" folder to make sure nothing is missing. (If you're using the Mods Manager, this should not apply to you).
4. Make sure the other mods you have installed do not have any conflicting scripts.
This is one that you should look out for on any mods you have installed. If two mods use the same scripts, only 1 of the mods scripts will work. This can potentially stop one mod from working if there is important information within that script.
So if the above three methods did nothing for you and you have other mods installed, check if any of the scripts (Files that end in .ws) in any of your mods have the same name as each other.
For instance, if you have a mod that has "playerWitcher.ws" in the Scripts\Games\Player folder, chances are that mod or Leveling Starting Armor will break.
