Thank you! It's good to see that after so long time The Witcher and the original Geralt appeared, there is still those fans who loves the look of the first Geralt! I'm glad you like it!
hello! this is a very cool mod and i'm wondering if it would be possible for you to make a new version of it, with paler skin and white eyebrows. I know this is an old mod but it doesn't hurt to ask :)
I have a problem, it looks like in my game the new texture gets superimposed onto the original face model, making it look like Geralt is wearing bad makeup. I followed the installation instructions down to a T. Removing the files and trying again has the same results. Only other mod I'm using is the extended vegetation mod.
My only problem with it are the eyebrows so I did a little photoshop edit on one of your images. https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/153/1768775-1562818979.jpg
What about hair for TW2 more like TW1 version? I mean on this game Geralt long hair a bit different and more grey than TW1 hair. P.S. new face looks amazing, but brows and eyes not really naturally. Any way, good work!
The color must change, since when i delete the hair textures the hair color changes to gray and when adding the textures from the original Geralt mod the color is white and with the other mod the color either has no difference or very minimal difference, to the original Geralt mod.
So if you use the original Geralt mod you don't need the other mod.
Nice! The change from TW1 to the later two games was pretty jarring, to say the least. I like for Geralt to look the same through all three games.
Quick modding question for you, if you don't mind--how did you convert the .xbm files to .dds (and then from .dds back to .xbm)? All the guides I've found are very old and say to use quickbms and the scripts from witcher2_texture_converter.zip, but none of the download links for the converter seem to work anymore.
Hi! In Redkit, if you search the assets, you can export the xbm to a common format. Select a texture, than right click on it. There must be an option for export asset. A common format to xbm: You have an option in the asset browser to import textures. If you do so, than you can find the xbm file on your game directory. I'm not front of my PC at the moment. If it's not clear, send me a PM and later I can give an exact description with pictures.
Thanks for the answer--that helps a lot! I didn't know REDkit had that function. I should be able to figure it out now, but I'll let you know if I run into any problems.
Hello, with this mod installed geralt's base damage at the start is 46-52, while vanilla is 1-2, this leads to the game being way too easy, even on Dark. From what I can tell the file: player.w2ent is the cause of this, and the other stats such as armor and vitality are significantly changed as well. Is this how the mod is supposed to be?
Hmm. No. I didn't noticed this before. If you start a new game without my mod and continue with the first saved game with my mod the stats are normal. But I don't know leveling up is affected or not?

Sorry, but I don't have any plan to modify my mod further.

Cause, the mod i suggested and the original Geralt mod change some of the same files.
So if you use the original Geralt mod you don't need the other mod.

Respect for the first Geralt of Rivia!
Edit: Nevermind, I managed to fix it.
