But yes, there are newer files from another modder, that you need to overwrite the older mod https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/877. And to make this Mod work with FCR, you need a programm, I forgott whats it called, to open the pack0.dzip files and delete the triss w2ent files and then close the pack0 files again.
There are often problems with Mods that have similar/same files, they don't work together unless you manually merge them, which can sometimes be a pain in the ass.
I've updated the installation instructions with more details, since most of the problems people were having were probably due to incorrect folder or file placement in the game directory. The installation doesn't need messing with the base_scripts.dzip with the Gibbed Red Tools, since the mod does not rely on any scripts whatsoever. Just checked the mod on a completely clean GOG install and it work fine.
Can't install this mod without the Gibbed Red Tools, found out because I was using that tool for other mods. Unpack the base_scripts.dzip (drag and drop on top of the Gibbed.Red.unpack.exe) it puts decompresses base_scripts.dzip into a folder in your CookedPC folder. Look at the file setup for this mod, follow it and copy the files into your base_scripts folder then drag the base_scripts folder on top of the Gibbed.RED.pack.exe and it will compress it for you and replace your base_scripts.dzip file - now the mod is applied. Make sure you backed up your original base_scripts.dzip file. Delete the folder base_scripts, the Gibbed tool is done with it.
I can't get this mod to work for me. I've placed the "triss.w2ent" and the "triss_tortured.w2ent" files in the CookedPC directory.
Running Steam Enhanced Edition. Tried multiple permutations in installation (placing the "Blue eyes for Triss (Lore-Friendly)" folder inside of CookedPC, placing just "triss.w2ent" in CookedPC, etc.)
Mods installed: none then "Comfy Couch mod"
Do I need to create a special folder for these files. Like you do for .xml files by having to create an "items" folder in CookedPC? I don't see any other .w2ent files in the directory.
Are mods like these outdated? The only other mods that work for me are .dzip files.
I'm also having the same problem with another mod not using .dzip files. "Triss Natural Hair Mod" mod is giving me the exact same problem.
Hmm, for some odd reason the mod isn't working for me.
I installed the mod exactly like instructed by extracting the files into the "CookedPC" folder, but Triss' eyes are still default colored. Quote: "Installation: Unzip and put the contents in your The Witcher 2/CookedPC folder." Could it be that the installation description isn't telling the whole story?
Or could it be that some of my other texture mods are causing problems? - Better Texture Environment - https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/158 - Alternative Outfit for Triss - https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/834?
Edit. I triple checked the installation process to be 100% sure that I installed the mod correctly like instructed and I even uninstalled all other texture mods, but the her eyes are still green. Any ideas?

I already installed medallion cooldown to 1 sec. I don't want to tamper it by overwriting it with this mod.
