i would appreciate to get some help with how to actually install this when I use Steam, because I can not find neither file that are specified in the explanation on how to instal this.
I only have user_speech, sounds, movies and global inside the CookedPC file itself. And if I need a different tool to actually install this mod, can anyone actually help me with this? Cause I'm new to modding The Witcher 2.
I have only used mods on The Witcher 3 and Skyrim etc. Which is much easier.
So, If anyone could explain a little better how to actually Use this mod. I would love to use the Iorveth one.
using the Letho mod causes me to kill everything with a single attack, and also take much less damage. I've narrowed the issue down to the "player.w2ent" file, but that's as far as I can go with my limited modding knowledge.
It happens when you start a new game AFTER installing the mod So you have to: 1. Uninstall the mod (place ORIGINAL player.w2ent, witcher.w2ent files to \CookedPC\characters\templates\witcher) 2. Start a new game ("That morning the King summoned me" ) 3. Place player.w2ent, witcher.w2ent files from "Play as..." mod to \CookedPC\characters\templates\witcher 4. Load a game you saved earlier... and play. The problem disappears :-)
Question: Can these models use the different armors found throughout the game? Or are you stuck with their default armor the whole time? I'd love to play as Iorveth wearing Raven's armor.

Being Iorveth is so badass and someone else made it for Witcher 3 as well. So I can play this entire series as someone other than Geralt of Rivia.
