    I love this mod.

The Raven Armor looks much better. I will be using this from now on, thanks Supamic.

    The actual install is easy:

    1) Place the MOD_RavensHuntersArmorsRetroProject.dzip file in the CookedPC folder.

    2) If you want the belt changes then place the xml files in the CookedPC/Items folder.

Note: This will conflict with other armor and sword mods. So if you still want the betl while running other mods then follow the instructions in the readme file.

I really like these armours. Especially the black with the belt. Very nice. Unfortunately I can't understand the description of how to install and use the mod. Seems to need editing or something but I can't work it out. Good work tho.

Pleases me that you with the XML's has created.

I am momentary a little in experiment with the armament. Has also lightened the spikes and look to me at the degree. The result is not so bad as I thought. Indeed, I consider which brown I take. At the moment this is as dark brown as Chocolate brown. A problem is that I can add without REDkit, no sharp (spiky) spikes, only normal level rivets or ring rivets. And, moreover, I must exchange the leather texture for a fresh one. By to and fro convert it is already worn a little. Well, this will still probably last a little.

I hope that the REDkit also an option brings with which one 3D models directly can work on. But probably, one can create with it (thus) only additional adventure. If we wait (watch for) for it.

Actually, a Plugin would be already enough for me for e.g. 3DS Max. Unfortunately, I am not able to produce one to myself.

Well, see you later...and sorry for my bad English.

Thanks for your reply, i will try to use simple words as possible so when you translate into an automatic german translator you may be able to understand what i write more easily.

    1. Don't let your time be wasted or eaten by my considerations, i ended up installing the mod just fine by experimenting a bit myself with what you wrote and editing xml's files / copy pasting your notes, so it ended up working eventually.

    2. Would be nice to have that "chrome" feeling on the spikes just like rivets seems to be chromed too, but i get that the "original" raven armor from witcher 1 didn't have spikes, thus for now, Spikes being darker might be benefical for the old look / design feeling, and overall the raven outfit you made looks pretty nice / cool with all the rivets additions, and especially like how you decided to put intersections / rivets on the shoulder pads/ things too.

    3. Understood why you leave them dark, spikes on this upper armlet protection are not in the "best" disposition / position on it, so, these metal spikes being in the way, if they were brighter, they would take all the visual aspect from rivets, but still, i really think "spikes" on them adds to the "evolution" of the set, maybe it's a bit too gothic for people's taste, i don't know, but i kind of like it with spikes as it feels like if someone tries to hurt Geralt it must revert/ induce some damage by hitting him, wich make some of his repelling damage spells more realistic (especially his electric aura, metal spikes can work as catalyzer for more peaks in damage while hit ) I'm just talking about the "roleplay" and justification potential of spikes presence on his armor.

    4. Yeah, people do not really tend to go to these "hardcore" difficulty modes, no problem here by making it available for everyone, but still i think the Raven armor should be, at least, the most protective armor since it was a pain in the ass to actually work to get it in the first game, i was disappointed by it's lack of stats in comparison to uglier and not so "well" designed vests / outfits, from them all the raven armor seemed the more "practical" and to the eye, seems to be the most usefull / well thought, while it gives a lot of freedom of movement, it still has a good protective design that let the mind think it can't "suck" as much as they make the stat of it be. But it's my "fan" an roleplay linked to itemization concerns about the game tho, nothing particular, don't get drowned in the futility of some of my comments.

    5. Great to see some weapons for this game for once ! Blasphemer's armor is on of the three "DARK" mode armors added to the game when enhanced, it has nice dark gloves with rivets on it that just marry well with the spikes / rivets on your raven version, the Blasphemer's trousers also have rivets, but on some other leather pants, there are some knee metal pads / shield that could go even better if it could be mixed with Blasphemer's trousers.

Anyway, i wish i could make some actual "new" armor and weapon models for the game as i'm not too bad with 3D modeling and texturing, but there's still no redkit toolset to be out, and i think that when it comes, it will also be a tool available for the witcher 3 modifications, because at the rate it's coming i feel that the witcher 3 will gather more attention, unfortunately, shadowing the witcher 2 modding a bit :/

    Thanks for your feedback.
    1. I will take into consideration your wishes, but I should make real this set, then, however, you would also have to edit again the XML's. You would have to learn this anyhow what is not really difficult. I provide always edited XML's. Provided that you use no other Mods, you can use this.

    2. Black is to be converted into brown not thus the problem, unless there are rivets or ring rivets. Since then they colour with. I would have to put on(arrange) practically every rivet anew from hand what is very time-luxurious. But maybe I find an easier way.

    3. I leave the spikes of the arm protection on purpose dark, because it did not look so well with the arm protection of the Witcher 1 which brings already rivets. But also this I will have a look once again.

    4. Time see whether I can convert generally Items of the Dark mode simply so, because they must function also in the other Gamearts. Not everybody plays mode in the Dark.

    5. So if I, as already said this set should make, it will certainly last some time, because I already work for some weeks on a big Weaponmod of about 80% is ready. And, besides, I am still occupied with other projects. So is patient please a little bit.

P.S. I just try to find out what is meant with Blasphemer's Armor. I have the German version and there the sets are differently named. Translates not literally. Is this the armament with the Hood?

And + in top of that, it would be neat if the metal spikes on armaments and lower armament's protections on the raven armor were as "bright" / or clear, the metal needs to be a bit, well, just like the metal spikes on the belt, a lot more brighter maybe the word, so they get more "visibility" on the armor.

The only problem is, the way it's explained how to install it seems very complicated and does not go "step by step", i feel it's more complicated than it should be, and i feel like i have to open lot of files and rename a lot of things too, it's a bit over my head, i would like to play with it tho, i really like the spiked armaments on both upper arms and lower arms, + the spiked dark gloves from another set and the spiked pants from dark mode armor this set would look awesome, would be nice if you could even replace the kinslayer's model with this one.

Tho, it would also be cool to see it in a lighter "and" darker brown leather version (with all the spikes / armaments, pants an gloves i mentionned and not totally black even if this one could be a perfect replacer for kinslayer's outfit. )

so that would mean Raven's modified armor + Blasphemer's goves + Blasphemer's trousers and kinslayer's boot i think, would be a bad ass looking armor with that kind of modifications + the darker / spiked belt u made. (and the leather bag / poutch)

Well, that was my take on it.

Yes, strangely enough I get in general not enough feedback as I find. I my bad feedback is better than even nothing.
