If anybody is interested, I combined the Improved runes with this DALLS mod, so I replaced all necessary code with the extra runes and "improved" runes of the Improved Runes mod here. If anybody is interested in the modifications, I have the files and would be glad to post them, though I've never posted any modifications on NMM, can probably figure it out, as I was able to figure this out, it works fine so far, through Act 1. If anybody wants it, let me know, I actually switched back because his runes kinda fit better with this AWESOME mod. But I have the modified files nonetheless. It is the only change I made to this mod. I don't think the dude who made this will mind.

fainter hmm.. good question which is a bit hard to answer as some (visual/video) aspects never seem to work. Good shadow detail in my case means really rubbish sky / fog so I can not recommend it

yroc1234 you are quite right but as my changes had to be based on something they were based on original game set-up. Soldiers especially shield-bearers will provide reasonable challenge as for bandits they are (visually) presented as rug-tag bunch with no armors and with low-grade / infective weapons. I can boost them - but then you'll have "master" Geralt - in (full) armor and with some wonder-sword - having problem with each and every low-life he encounters.

There are different quality grades (opponent difficulty / 5-6 levels per weapon) which were adjusted accordingly but which particular one of these grades was actual used by RED for some particular (scene/s) actors - I have no idea as that without some game tool-kit can not be checked or changed. Change of weak-ones for stronger ones (in game scene/s) - would be right way to go - unfortunately that is not possible.

As for snare traps that is something I have not changed or altered at all - must be side effect of something (armor?).
On other hand open - camp - fires do more damage to Geralt with 150% of fire protection - then Act3 Dragon

Hey man great job on this! Particularly on dark mode, I think it does a good job of making playing as geralt feel powerful while maintaining a high level of difficulty throughout the game. I will say one problem with it I have noticed is that it seems that all the humans I have fought so far are pitifully weak compared to the monsters, which seem like they are at the perfect level of difficulty. I actually ran up to a bandit camp in flotsam and just let them beat the s#*! out of me for about 40 seconds and I was only down to 25% health. I was wearing ravens armor, had only swallow as my potion, was on Dark difficulty, and was using the latest version of this mod.

It could be a simple variable change to this mod, I'm gonna go back and look at the exact damages.

EDIT: Alright, it seems like monsters are doing about 50-75ish damage with no backstab(counting in my armor). While bandits/other humans are doing about 10-25. That's a pretty major difference IMO and you might want to take a look at it. Also, bandits have almost no armor go Geralt tears through them really quickly while most monsters I have seen have at least 20ish.

I also noticed that snare traps do 0 damage(not total damage after beign subtracted from armor, they literally do nothing, I could be wearing no armor and take no damage).

    I hope this info helps!

Jjiinx detailed list of all changes made would be very long and probably as boring. Trying it in game will say /show much more then five pages of in depth "explanations". And don't you worry it wont break your game as these changes are just (temporary) override of game (behaviour) files. Take them out and you are back where you were.

You say you've made a lot of changes, but you don't say what you've changed... I'm staying away from this one.
