could you add a hood to hardened leather jacket?not neccesarily it,but any jacket would be great with a hood and those little armor fragments on each hand
This mod will conflict with any other mod that includes the file items\def_item_armor.xml. If you want to use both mods, please follow these steps: a) Download and install the Hoodless Elven Jacket mod b) Download and install the other mod. - If the other mod is provided in both dzip and unpacked format, take the unpacked version. - If it's provided only in dzip format, you'll need to unpack it. Instructions for this are given elsewhere in the forums. - If it's already unpacked, you're good to go. c) Find the file CookedPC\items\def_item_armor.xml and right-click on it, select Edit (use Notepad) d) For Hardened Leather Jacket: - Search for the phrase "Hardened Leather Jacket". The value for equip_template should be 06_hardened_jacket. Change it to 08_kaedwenian_jacket - A couple of lines below this is an entry for "belt_2". Change this to "belt_3" e) For Elven Jacket: - Search for the phrase "Elven Armor". The value for equip_template should be 07_elven_jacket. Change it to 08_kaedwenian_jacket
Save the file, and you're done. Just reinstall if you hit any problems.
EE doesn't seem to have changed any of the vanilla files used for this mod, so it should still be OK. Please feedback if you do encounter any problems with it.
Before anyone asks, no, I don't know how to get the Elven Jacket in-game, although the wiki does state that it's available at the end of a certain quest. If you want to use the texture, but don't have the Jacket, you can use the "Hardened Leather Jacket" alternative download instead. You can buy this Jacket from Sendler in Lobinden.
