Works great, armour looks much better without the hood.

Works perfectly with The Witcher 2 EE (Steam version) + Project Mersey Witcher 2 fix.

It's a great mod, I really hated the hood on my first playthrough since you can't see Geralt's expressions in many important cutscenes. The design is also great, the armor looks just like it was, just without the hood.

I wish I had found this before the Kayran armor became obsolete, but good work anyway.

The armour on the arms are not red for me when I installed this (they are dark blue instead). It's not game breaking or anything, but I would like it to be red, like in the picture. Any ideas what's wrong?
Edit: I accidentally added the xbm files in a wrong folder, it's all good now. Please ignore this post xD

Looking at all of the people saying it didn’t work made me feel skeptical at first but it works as intended. I copy/pasted the folders into CookedPC rather than unpacking them (I know that unpacking is a lot more convenient but I feel safer doing it myself) and the mod did what it was supposed to do. I’m playing EE.

It doesn't work for me :c
The only thing that I have installed, apart from this, is a tweaker to lower the graphics, disable shadows and some other things, nothing else. Could that be the problem?
Also, I have the enhanced edition and the game not registered

Great mod! A true work of love but the included def_item_armor.xml to make the armor hoodless plays havoc on FCR2 armor stats. If I'm OCD enough about it, I might make a FCR2 version of the def_item_armor.xml file.

I found an easy way of making you a FCR2 compatibility patch. Do you want to post it in your download section (give me credit for making the patch though) or should I make a new post for the patch?

I've posted a compatibility patch with FCR2 for this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/804/?
