About this mod
All rare and hard to find or loot weapons and armor, but placed with appropriate merchants for normal game-play. Slightly overpowered weapons & armor placed with secondary merchants for added flexibility.

This is a mod for you if you've never heard of swords called Arbitrator, Blood Sword, Harvall, Caerme, Mahakaman Sihil, Nilfgaardian Harpy and Draug's Confession to name a few. My goal was to have the variety and option of buying super rare quest and loot items before they became obsolete (i.e you finish a quest & received a rare sword or piece of armor that weaker then the one you're holding...awesome).
Through a lot of experimenting, I've found and moved all of these rare items to various merchants over all 3 Acts, but as appropriate for that Act (see list below). (A) The blacksmiths and armorers now many, many more weapons and armor options, but still balanced in their armor and damage stats. (B) As a secondary option, the waitresses and fruit merchants that are normally ignore now carry what I call "next level" items (+- 8 more damage weapons and +- 5 armor) but still not game breaking.
Here's my guideline for "balanced" weapons damage & armor values per Act:
Act I(13-25 damage, 8-15 armor)
Act II (26-35 damage, 13-22 armor)
Act III (36+ damage, 23+ armor) basically, the 4-5 best weapons and armor available.
* Note: highest level steel sword is 58 damage; highest level silver sword is only 50, so I've adjusted accordingly.
This means you don't have to go through all of Act I with Blue Strip Armor, the Witcher's SS and Jagged Blade. Boring! There are now a dozen options of similar strength items to choose from. Act II has equally as much variety.
As far as pants, gloves, and boots, I don't feel that it breaks the game if you have +3 armor pants or +2 armor gloves in Act I, so I've given the rarest of these items and some "special" items to the Mysterious Merchant to sell.
This was solely for personal use, but I've put in the time to make it right, so please enjoy.
NOTE: This is a mod of the def_shops file, so it will override any def_shops mods you're already using.
