QUINTESSENCE HUD
Is a recolored version of the original Witcher HUD with some minor replacements in it.
Many people dislike the original vibrant look of The Witcher's interface and indeed it's a bit too much as it is,
but I think the effort put in its design and style is respectable, but a darker tone and some minor changes would give it elegance
while keeping the original shapes and color-theme.
The pop-up windows for tutorials, questions and bribe are pretty unfinished yet.
I want to make them match more with the main menu background with the leather/steel plate in the middle.
Will finish it as soon as I have a good design idea for it.
Most of the original icons remained untouched, maybe I'll work on them a bit later, but the darkened background
makes them pop out, so menu usage is more comfortable for the eye.
The portraits in the Character and Monsters database are partially edited by me, containing a few pieces from
the Rise of the White Wolf overhaul.
To install it, simply drop the extracted Override folder into your game's data folder.
There should be no other UI-related mods active while used.
If you would like to keep the original portraits, don't copy the contained UI CHAR and UI MONS folders.
I don't know if the mod will get further updates, it depends on my time to spend on it.
Feel free to alter or extend it as you wish and/or re-upload elsewhere if you give credit for my resources.
