I had this mod installed along with 70+ others including FCR and your Extra Armors Mod My issue only arose after buying the Temerian Armor - But the Order Armorer appears invisible (only his name showing) (I believe I have gone into more detail on the Extra Armors Page) After narrowing it down to the appearence.2da file (Which I now see you have mentioned in your description)
.... But after purchase he disappears - if I uninstall the mod I get him back but Gerald disappears (or the camera is buggy) at a point where I either have the Armora and no Geralt or No Armorer and a normal camera,
Did you ever get round to merging the scripts together? or any idea how I can work round this?
************* UPDATE *************** So I'm 99% of the way there - turns out the wolf mod was also a major factor in the conflict. This is my result - I have the Order Armorer alive and well (cant remember if he was yellow - just glad to see him) The camera is as should be The wolf mod - interestly enough its loads and animates but rather than looking like a wolf - its loading a ginger bearded dwarf
--- --- --- --- Load Order --- z_FCR z_zrotww (everything but the Geralt folder in Characters) zz_CharacterAddon zz_zrotww (Characters/Geralt folder) zz_zzArmorAddon/ (folders within below) / z_fcrfiles / z_Wolf (everything but the appearence.2da file) I suppose I can work with this until I learn script merging - Still if anyone knows a better route - any and all help welcome
Hi. New models are always good! What do you think about the idea of Plotka appearing in the game? XD No, not to drive, but just for aesthetics in every big location. Geralt can even feed (like a medallion-cow) and add storage (as innkeeper). I don't have enough knowledge, everything I managed to add spawn point and attach a model to it. Stands like a pillar without animation and without collision... link. In general, if anyone knows how to create a normal mod, it would be wonderful)
I've wanted to add horses to some of the game locations (like the outskirts and Kaer Morhen) for a few years as well. However, I have not found the time to figure out how to do it yet.
I guess it shouldn't be too hard, but I'm not sure that it works with the compiled modules. Have you tried adding it to one of the adventures or to a new module altogether?
Unpacked the game, found a horse model. I took the file - The Witcher\Data\modules\!Final\kaer_morhen.mod Renamed to - kaer_morhen.adv And put it in a folder - Documents\The Witcher Launched Djinni - Module\Open module\kaer_morhen.adv Installed at the point - Spawnpoints and tied a horse model to it. Saved. Renamed to - kaer_morhen.mod and moved back to - !Final That's all i could.
This looks nice. Though I've question, I place the whole folder in Override or just search for each file in the mod and replace them with your files? And should I also paste the apparance file?
It should be placed in Data folder or in a folder within Data folder. I think it could even work if put into z_zrotww folder, just make sure it's alphabetically last subfolder in it.
I just keep folder Data/z_Wolf and put all stuff there, sorting load order by adding 00_'s and zz_'s into subfolder names as prefixes
Yeah, there's also cm_brute1 with some guy with mustaches, and no textures as well. Alas i'm no 2D artist and i can't create even a mediocre texture for them.
And with Francesca there's still issue of this model being quite useless. We can't give it to any scoia'tael as elves in W1 are poor and ghettoed (or live in forest, eat cones and shoot humans) while this model clearly has a nice dress and haircut. And we can't give it to any human aristocrate, since this model has pointy ears.
cr_brute1 is much more interesting, because if textured, could give some unique mesh to Jean Pierre or Bounty Hunter. But still - we would need someone who can create good textures on a model that has none to begin with.
*Be lost in thought*... cm_brute1 - i can not figure it out, I did not find it in the game archives. cr_brute1 - I think it's broken. Remember the scene of the conversation between Triss and Filipa at the mirror? What if you replace the sex workers with Francesca? https://ibb.co/8chJqt6 -- all I could do, i am Frankenstein XD. https://dropmefiles.com.ua/en/AZw9Esm -- textures, if needed.
Hey, that's actually pretty good texturing, considering circumstances. It took me 3 hours to paint cm_brute's hair and face in different solid colors.
The problem with the mirror scene is that mirror-effect is baked into character models (as one of the extra bones i think?). Radovid and MirrorLady have separate models for that occasion that makes them invisible (but still reflecting in mirrors) and they are placed face toward the mirror.
I had several different conceptions for changing MirrorLady. 1. Give her Sabrina model. Honestly nobody really treats Price of Neutrality seriously nowadays and if RotWW turned Lady of the Night into her, i can turn MirrorLady into her and give Lady of the Night vampiresque reskin of Young Noblewoman 2. Give her reskin of Young Noblewoman and pretend she's Keira as Keira makes most sense for this conversation. She was Temerian sorceress, so she would have pretty good intel about Salamandra, and she was very attracted to Geralt so MirrorLady's remark about him would fit
But both variants require to add that mirroreffect to another mesh, which as of today seems borderline impossible.
When i compared cr_bitch2 (Trade Quarter sw) with cr_bitch3 (MirrorLady) i have noticed that their main difference is that MirrorLady has extra bone: ob_mirsa_effect, it is located in Meshes bif.
Not with that degree of completion, no. But cm_brute1 and cm_franc1 seems to be fully rigged, animated and stuff. Just lacking textures. There are also untextured copies of shani, geralt and rich dwarf but as far as i investigated, they have no differences from finished models so i presume they are just some earlier build leftovers

I saw a model Francesca Findabair (cm_franc1.mdb) in the archives of the game. It's a pity but there are no textures :(

Unfortunately, the model has a few problems that we are not quite able to overcome with the tools we have:

Apparently, I was able to fix the animations problem, they are now working correctly, at least in Djinni.
It would be great if we could have used Francesca's model there, but as it seems, we do not have the tools to actually make that happen.
By the way, I've looked and I could not find the mirror effect in the models.
Same with MirrorRadovid
And I am completely unfamiliar with 3d max :(
Have you found any more models that could be added back?
