One should at the very least be capable of dealing damage to a wraith with a silver sword coated in specter oil. It's ridiculous how much preparation is needed to be able to kill anything.

Came back a couple levels later. Maxed out my strength after gaining 2 gold talents, wraiths went from impossible to easy. Similar experience in the first act — Geralt was getting dunked on until I got high dexterity. I'm thinking base stats should be much higher, while upgrade gains should be significantly reduced.

Beat the game now. It was too hard and a slog in the beginning, then got progressively easier to the point that late game enemies and bosses were easier to kill than barghests and drowners were in the beginning. Don't know what to think about this. The oils and potions were more important than usual, at least.

Is it possible to increase HP of Bosses and Trophy monsters? Which file do I need to edit?:)
I believe it's monster_abl.lua please correct me if I'm wrong.

      Maybe, don't remember.
You can change it yourself and see the results.

should i put the 2da, uti, utm etc folders in the DATA folder or should i put all these folders in one folder and name it z_FCR?

and is compatibility with Rise of the White Wolf and Overhaul Project possible?

Just got past the Drowners in Act 2 sewers. It's near impossible to defeat them if you're over 50 Toxicity, that's why people are complaining they keep missing the Drowners. I think if possible maybe you should give players a White Honey potion to reset the debuff:) Equipping a White Honey in the potions Quick Slot before you end Act 1 is also an alternative but that seems a bit meta gamey.

Do you know how to get through the intro of the game? I legit cannot beat it, since the fast Salamandra Bandit literally parries ALL attacks

That's the game being very glitchy I think. Try to let enemies start their attack animation first when that happens then only click to attack, seems to work fine for me. I recommend playing this mod with easiest difficulty, because it gets very frustrating later on once you start fighting monsters. It feels the most balanced while still keeping the game very challenging, enemies don't parry as much too.

      You can run past them.

      [upd]
      Just played thru prologue.
      Yes, they do parry.
And yes, fast style is required there.
And yes, there's a hard moment with 2 bandits up (strong and fast ones) and archers below.
Either bait them beyond archer range -- or just run past to the tower.

Does unlocking Aard stun completely replace knockdowns? I miss the ground execution animations:) Since I unlocked stun for Aard, no enemies get knockdown anymore as they are 100% of the time stunned.

Just got into Act 2, where do I find a recipe for Necrophage Oil? Already have the skill to make it, which is the vanilla way of learning it, but I've yet to find out how to make it in this mod.

It is in your quest items slots above inventory. You get it after the Prologue.

Tip if anyone is having trouble with ghouls in the Outskirts because you don't have Necrophage Oil for whatever reason, just pull it towards the guards at the inn. Also make sure you have Strong/Fast style tier 2 moveset unlocked asap (Steel and Silver). They are essential:)

How to remove potion of challenge from all merchants? Delete all utm files? Are there any changes to merchants besides adding the potions?
Delete all files in utm folder with names:
    it_drink_110
    it_drink_111
    it_drink_112

Scabbard mod has a compatibility for the original FCR. I assume I should use that compatibility for this mod too?:)

I followed someone's advice and named the mods in this order and place them in Data directory, not override and it seems to be working fine :)
      za_FCR Hard Overhauled
      zb_Scabbard Mod
      zc_Rise of the White Wolf
      zd_Complete Sword Overhaul
      ze_Dagger Overhaul
