Desperately needs some description on the camera settings file so that we can customize it. MaxDesiredDist doesn't seem to mean anything for Indoor/Outdoor rows where Casual/Hybrid seem to refer to High/Low Isometric. For those, it all seems to only respond to changes to MinDesiredDist. TPP row seems to refer to OTS mode and the min/max do refer to zoom range.
Mainly I was interested in knowing what the default values were so I can experiment from there. It seems that most of the values were default except the FOV column which I assume the mod author changed from 75 to 80 for all, and originally the MinDist/MaxDist and MinDesiredDist/MaxDesiredDist might have been 1.5/1.6, which I assume mod author changed to 1.6/3.8. Only the "DesiredDist" columns seem to matter, the "Dist" without "Desired" ones don't have any effect for me.
Likewise for DesiredTilt columns, the Min is what matters for the high low isometric views, while both Min and Max matter for OTS view.
Nice mod. But I can't play with it on, since it has a fishbowl effect on top of worsening the horrendously fast camera rotation speed that the game has even on lowest setting.
This is a quality mod - but I also enjoy using the OST camera Somehow - even after uninstalling the mod and reinstalling the game I am stuck with the first person camera settings (I can still flick through the 3 states with F1 F2 and F3) Are you also able you upload the original files (or a default settings override) I'm kinda lost on how to tackle this?
*********** UPDATE ************ So after reinstalling the game a few times and clearing the steam download catch - instead of loading my most recent save - I started a new game. Normal camera - I loaded the save - First person again. Loading the save before that though - normal. I think the save is corrupt - maybe due to wearing ROTWW-Armor_Addons And then loading up in TWEE (MO2_Instance, as well as boot standard)
SideNote: I have 2 Installs of the game Standard and then ROTWW in its own games folder Where some mods use the same merchant to sell items - with the way the game saves there inventory It seems near on impossible to use them both (I haven't delved into script merging yet - but i guess thats the key. Ive tested this with Thaler - My ROTWW instance loads the Termerian Jacket From the Extra Armors Mod - and TWEE Instance loads the Thaller Sell Better Swords Mod. Conclusion this is where I hit the camera glitch going back to TWEE - I believe I am fine to continue playing in ROTWW glitch free for now :)
I use MO2 now to toggle this mod on and off and works a dream - Thank You :)
********** SOLVED ************ I have all the Fix mods in a pack on MO2 - when this isnt active - the camera goes into first person and Geralt is invisible other than 1 Scarab
As you can see in my screenshot, this mod makes the text "Choose the amount that you wish to bet." overlap the amount sliding box, which makes us unable to actually see the amount that we bet.
I first reported this issue in the bug section but my screenshot turned into a weird block of incomprehensible text so I report it here instead as that seems to work better here. Moreover, my report was classified as Camera FPS whereas this issue is unrelated to that mod, it concerns the tweak camera and font mod.
See? When I disable this Tweak Camera and Font mod, the font is fixed. The issue is that while you made the font bigger for 1080p, you didn't make the boxes bigger as well so your font doesn't fit in boxes anymore. And now that I compare the original font with your font, actually the original font is big enough for 1080p already and your font is too big. Your mod causes some issues instead of solving some and actually the game doesn't have any font issue to fix to begin with.
Thanks. I'm running the game on GOG and I gotta say this mod worked. I like the Camera mod, it works great! But the Font mod is broken. Some texts in the Pause Menu (ex; Save, Load, Settings) are invisible. Dialogue boxes are not aligned properly, some are outside the box and some just don't appear at all. I just deleted the Font mod.
Is there a way to make the ost camera look exactly like the isometric camera?(or maybe there was a mix option? the option that most closesly resembles the camera of w3)
When using camera tweaks theres a problem with cursor or something, you have to aim very precisly to attack, it makes game impossible when you cant click at enemies.
