Atrocious mod. Looks terrible and when I uninstalled it by rerunning the installer it broke my game installation.
It clearly says to copy the files etc from the backup folder back to the game directory AFTER uninstalling, well after uninstalling the backup folder is GONE!!!

Thank you Rip! You saved me the hassle of re-installing the game. I saved a copy of the backup folder elsewhere before uninstalling.

After installing this mod, I've currently lost all subtitles for dialogue only. So when walking around and talking to passersby the subtitles show up and show what they are saying. But when I am in dialogue with someone such as a merchant or quest giving character, there are no longer any subtitles. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe there is an original file for subtitles that I can find and use to bring them back?

ROTWW includes a replacement witcher.exe. Unfortunately, the ROTWW exe doesn't include a fix for cutscenes at non 16x9 resolutions, like the fix here http://www.wsgf.org/dr/witcher

I've tried hex editing ROTWW exe with the offset difference between stock and wsgf fixed exe's, but no joy.

Does anyone know if there's an updated ROTWW exe, rather than having to seriously degrade image quality by setting to low to get past the issue?

The inventory screen backgrounds are horrible, and so is the options menu screen. They don't fit in well at all and they contrast horrible with the text on screen so it makes reading quite stressful. I shouldn't have to squint to read something that's right in front of me.

Replace the witcher.exe in the system folder withe the one in the backup folder. Then delete all files in the gui folder that start with "gui_mp".

The zip version readme: "Note: If you don’t want new cursors, delete the System folder, then go to Data\z_zrotww\GUI and delete every file with “gui_mp” at the beginning." DO NOT delete the system folder from your game directory!

    Hy everyone!

I installed the Rise of the white wolf MOD to The Witcher Enhanced Edition base game (My witcher game is in my D-partition, not C)
Its work but the logos (atari, bioware etc.) are lag, and the intro is not showed, i hear the music of the intro but i see black screen...
With ESC, i can skip this, but i fear that the other cinematics of the game will be not show like the intro.
Please somebody answer this question, i want perfectly play this amazing MOD
    Thank you!

I know this is kind of late but I had a similar issue. I'm not sure what the problem is yet. I have played in game and haven't noticed any issues so far.
Edit: I just tried doing a complete reinstall of the game just to see and I can say that I have the lagging even without this mod installed. It didn't happen in an unmodded game or when a handful of small mods were installed. The problem only began again when I used a lot of texture mods. Maybe they overwhelm the game? lol

Anybody know why certain characters on my installation (Odo, Leuvarden, Gramps, the Druids, etc.)  look like they just took a swim in a tar pit?  My deductive powers tell me that the custom NPC textures for RotWW are not loading properly, but I have no idea why.  Halp pls?
