It will make it so that you can get the items from other mods without conflict. It has an NPC that you can ask for the items, like this Stop the Rain scroll and the Scabbard. Plus a bunch more.
Thank you Cory, I'm using your scroll all the time because I'm sick it rains all the time. :3 I'm glad I can stop the rain, however the sky still looks depressing filled with grey clouds... Can you enhance your mod from "Stop the rain" to "Make the weather nice" by making it dispel the clouds as well so we can truly enjoy the weather?
I've tried loose files in the data/override and also tried to put the rainstop folder in the override and neither worked for me even after game time in to see if it would generate after a few meditations. Am I missing something?
Found this on another forum of this mod and I'll share here for others that are Q'd and playing Witcher :)
So, to use this with the Scabbard Mod, ( my case I was using the Meditation mod that had cats eye and travel storage and this worked for me):
1. Temporarily remove the Scabbard Mod -- put it on your Desktop or in some place other than your Data folder. 2. Start your game. 3. Wait until you're given the Stop the Rain scroll. 4. Save your game and exit. 5. Take the custom_script files from the Stop the Rain mod out of your Override folder, but do leave in the ck_rainstop.ncs, ck_rainstop.nss, dp_scroll_019.dds, iit_quest_246.dds, it_quest_246.uti (Take custom_script.ncs and custom_script.nss out of your Data folder completely, don't just move them from Override to a different section of the Data folder.) 6. Put the Scabbard Mod back.
