Yes, you don't place rar files in the override folder, you unpack the files from it first.

bro, before entering in modding life, you need to know AT LEAST COMPUTER BASICS. rar files are compressed, u need to extract them using winrar. inside the rar file there will be the 2da file

Dude, some games and mod managers don't require loose files. I can think of a few titles where simply dumping the compressed file into a folder called "mods" was sufficient. Get off the l337ism

And don't use winrar, use 7zip.  It will NEVER nag you - totally freeware.

I have to say, in my opinion this 'fix' is also broken and in need of fixing.
All other 2da files use TAB's to separate columns. This file appears to have had it's TAB's stripped and replaced with spaces.
    Furthermore it has duplicate headings.

Maybe the file still works even with those issues - perhaps using spaces instead of TAB's is allowed but just non-standard - I don't know.

What I do know is that there is an invalid value for bloodstain radius on row 5 of the file. The values should be decimal, but this row has 'fx_bleeding00' instead.
It looks like fx_bleeding00 belongs one column to the right - in the AdditionalBlood column. Who know what the blood radius for row 5 should be though.

There was another version of this fix here by another author but they trashed it before I got a chance to inquire. Not sure if it fixes the above issue or is just a duplicate upload, though given that he trashed it most likely the latter.

Hi, thanks for pointing me to NeverWinter nights 2da editor. It's a great tool. I wanted to compare the changes in your attackeffects.2da the one in PB mod, but I'm unable to open your 2da whereas the one from the original opens without a hitch. Is it possible that the file that's up right now has somehow gotten corrupted?

Figured it out by opening it up in NP++, for some reason the Label ... to .... AdditionalBloodAttachNode line was duplicate. It was crashing the 2da reader. I deleted the extra line and checked in the 2da editor, it works fine now. I've putup the fixed version up here (fix of a fix, lolol):

4 years later... i opened up the file in np++ first to see the contents and saw the duplicate headings and wondering why. Thank you for the edited file!

I know it's been a while you've done it, but having steam sales and owning the witcher EE since today, I thank you for your mod and your advice for the override data system.
