Thank you. I like when each mod is rather thematic, so that people know exactly what they install and if they need it for their game. I've seen too many mods for various games, where people can be confused with what the specific files are responsible for. But of course, I never rule out some consolidation of the mods - for now, I focus on finding new things to fix, when I thought I'm done, I discovered more errors - but it's very enjoyable, the first game is something else and it's worth the effort.
Gotcha. I didn't realize originally that you made quite a few mods. I was thinking that, as another fix, it made sense to just incorporate in with the rest, but seeing as there are various ones with various degrees of fixing and tweaking, if you lumped them together, you'd be including things people wouldn't necessarily want.
Indeed, and it's a lot easier to maintain them for me as well, because I know which mod is a compatibility mod/bug-fixing or a music replacer. As you see here, this mod has two versions. for the vanilla and FCR - but it's all easily visible and doesn't confuse people. But as I said, the idea of incorporating "Drowners and Devourers" into Misc Fixes isn't a bad one.
If you see something in-game that needs fixing, even if it's a small grammar error and it isn't covered by any of the bug-fixing mods on Nexus - I'll make sure to fix it, making this game completely bug-free - that'd be something.
By the way, do you know if permanent bodies would work with your mods? I don't know much about modding, but I think that has all the NPC files in order to code them to no disappear and some look to be the same as in your Scoia'tael mod, for instance?
Every .utc (character) file in my mods has the permament bodies option turned on, it's not a big deal to enable it. So, any file from Permanent Bodies mod that duplicates with my files can and should be safely removed - there shouldn't be any .utc duplicates in Data and Data/Override, because the game may load the other file. I wrote about it in this mod's description.
And for the .utc file to work, you have to reload an area - in case of The Witcher 1 it's easy, because changing a location or entering a house is enough. If you had more questions, I'll provide the answers.
