Does it work on Steam? I put the file in under the "GOG Save Folder" way, cause my save file was there too, but with the "~" button it doenst work. I hope u can help me
-To use the developer menu in the Steam version you need to "copy" the "config" folder that's inside the "Unlock_Developer_Console_&_Quicksave" file & paste it into your game's "We Happy Few save folder location".
-"We Happy Few" Steam save folder location: my documents > my games > We Happy Few.
-If the ConsoleKey "~Tilde" doesn't open the console, you can change the "ConsoleKey" to something else.
-To do this, open the "WindowsNoEditor" folder, then open the "Input.ini" file with Notepad or Notepad++, then find the line that looks like this: [/script/engine.inputsettings] ConsoleKey=Tilde ConsoleKeys=Tilde Rename "Tilde" to something else. Don't forget to save the "Input.ini" file before closing it. I hope this helps
Thanks for this mod. Was wondering if anyone has found a way to make survival mechanics in story mode the same as in Survival?
I don't really understand why Survival/Sandbox exists. The world is a small copy/paste of only village/Gardens. Story mode with punishing Survival difficulty would be infinitely superior.
Failing that, how about making Survival/Sandbox use story map generation? The Survival maps are small and pathetic..
Old post, I know. But I'm gonna try in vain to get some help. I tried spawning items using the commands listed in the TXT file. But the commands aren't recognized and I can't spawn any items in. The only commands I know to work are Fly, Ghost and Walk. They're the sole remotely useful commands for this game. Am I doing something wrong with item spawning?
Even though this is quite old I figured i'd explain for those that currently use the XBox app version on Windows 10. Simply replace the input.ini located in LocalState\My Games\We Happy Few\Config\UWP no need to copy the whole folder. Ensure the file is set to Read Only and you're good to go.
