      Hey there,
i did a quick search on youtube for a general tutorial on ReShade, this one seems to be very basic and seems to have all the things you might want to see in addition to the written tutorial in my description here.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2F5ikdGKH0

I'm not that good at making a video like this myself, but feel free to let me know which step you're having trouble with and I'll try to help you out in writing!

For some reasons, I am unable to use YouTube. Can you do a tutorial in the form of pictures?

Sorry, but I don't have the time to create an illustrated guide.

You just download the ini from here, extract it from the zipfile and put it in the folder where the correct exe (WayOfTheHunter-Win64-Shipping.exe) is located, in this case that would be this folder in your Steam library: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\WayOfTheHunter\WayOfTheHunter\Binaries\Win64

If you don't know where your library is located, you can go to the game folder in your Steam library, right click on the game, select “Manage” and “Browse local files” and then just go to the Win64 folder.

Then go to https://reshade.me/, download ReShade and start it from your download folder. When you select the game there, you need to select WayOfTheHunter-Win64-Shipping.exe from the folder mentioned above. Then select DirectX11/12 and when the effects selection comes up, you can select the preset at the bottom. ReShade will download the required effects and finish the installation.

Then start the game, the ReShade overlay should appear. Then press Home/Pos1 on your keyboard and open the overlay, you go through the tutorial, select the ini at the top and the effects should appear with boxes checked. You can click on the performance mode at the bottom and close the ReShade overlay with Home/Pos1. If you want to toggle the effects, you can set a button under the settings tab in the ReShade overlay.

The only thing you should do in the game options is to set the sharpness to 0. Otherwise, I set everything to the maximum settings.

Again, feel free to let me know where you are having problems. If you would like someone else to search the internet for better instructions for you, you can also use the following AI, which also creates nice instructions and also tells you where it got the information from: perplexity.ai

The latest version of ReShade is 6.1.1, and the official website provides two download options. Do I need to download ReShade 6.1.1 with full add on support?

The preset should also work with the latest version, but since you don't need any add-ons for this preset, you can use the normal download link (the one that is just called "Download ReShade 6.1.1")!

Due to some reasons, the computer I use to play games cannot download preset files through reshade. So I obtained the following file from another computer through the correct operation steps:
      the reshade shaders folder
      dxgi.dll
      ReShade.ini
      ReShade.log
      ReShadePreset.ini
I have placed the above files and wothreshade.ini in the correct game directory on the computer I use to play games. When I opened the game, reshade ran normally, but after skipping the tutorial, all the filter effects were in an unselected state. I don't know which files need to be checked? I need your help.

The effects you need to activate are:

      prod80_02_Bonus_LUT_pack[PD_80_Bonus_LUT_Pack.fx]
      Lightroom [qUINT_lightroom]
AMD FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening [CAS.fx]

Hope you can activate them, but since you have a reshade shaders folder they should be there.

The fact that more effects are available seems to be due to the fact that the ReShade function for cleaning up the preset after configuration did not work and the values of the unused effects remained in the file. I experimented with different effects for a while until I settled on these three.

Anyway, I opened the preset again and deleted the unused shaders so that the preset now only contains values for these three effects and replaced the old file here. If in doubt, simply download the preset again and try it out. But if the shaders are there, it should be enough to check the 3 mentioned above!

How do I delete unused shaders so that the preset only contains the ones that need to be used?

The save icon right to the preset selection on top is supposed to do this. When you hover over it it says "Clean up and save current preset". If you are unsure, just redownload the preset, it is cleaned up now. Please don't make this ReShade Tutorial thread.
Hope you got it working, have a nice weekend!
