i have feeling now! the feeling in vanilla graph was weak. so i also go to use your fc6 mod, it also increase feelings! great! do you plan to do this to ac valhalla ? ( reshade is not the best solution. i founded no graph mods good enough in acv)
Thanks a lot!! I would love to mod Valhalla lighting, weathers, colors and more, because it looks quite bad, almost worst than Assassins Creed 2, yellow, old, bland, uninspired graphics, lighting weirdness and awful weathers.... but Valhalla is not moddable unfortunately( only clothing stuff is moddable ) as far as I know... and Reshade can't fix it this game
thanks mate! biggest changes I made for night time are: disabled auto exposure, deleted all color filters, made it a bit darker with a bit brighter lights, made rain less visible in dark areas but more visible under light sources
After a break I returned to this game but before I did that I downloaded this mod which makes it a bit harder for me to compare vanilla with modded lighting. The new appearance of the nights is really impactful. The colors pop more, it's darker so that there's an actual need for London to have street lights. Can't say much about the daytime lighting. It has been too long and i returned to this game with your mod installed. No complaints and the daytime/weather part of your mod. Everything is working nicely. I'm really glad that this is not just a reshade but a proper mod.
Do you think the nighttime lighting of the interiors of the bars can be made brighter? I think it could look really nice having those dark nights and well lit windows of the bars cutting through the darkness.
thanks!! Yes now some lights are weaker than others, and you notice that because night is darker and because the game was not made with realistic nights in mind, so light levels can be a bit unbalanced sometimes. I still don't know in which game file are stored the single interiors emissive lights, I'm not that skilled, so I simply modded them "all together", as "general environment night lights slider" :)
Just a suggestion for you to ponder. It would be interesting if there was a sort of "dreary" version of this mod that practically removes the sunny weather in favor of the darker ones like rain and fog. I always thought the sunny weather was when the game looked its worst. It feels made for anything else, but anything else is usually rare to see sadly. Since scripthook doesn't work on steam I cannot use that for what I am talking about lol.
Ofc this is just an idea/game rant, the mod is great as is.
I install the Disrupt manager like you describe and put my mod zip files in the WatchDogs Legions directory. I run disrupt manager, change the directory in settings to the directory with the exe, and click on "install Mod and Play". I get an error screen with about 20 lines. The top line says that it can't find "part of the path" of the "patch.fat" file in the "WatchDogs_Legion\data_win64" directory. Patch.fat is in that directory. Anywho, the disrupt Manager bombs out and the mod is not installed. Any advice? Thanks
it's weird, it works perfectly for me, I uploaded the same files I use too, maybe the path directory should be the folder and not the exe, I don't remember, ask here (1) Discord | #wdlegion_modding | Watch Dogs Modding
Well, can you check to see what directory you have set in Disrupt Manager. Is it the mod directory or the /bin directory? UPDATE: I got it to work (it is the main game directory, not the exe directory), but I get in-game glitches when I use it. In the Kill CASS Boss fight, it never gets to the point where I can shoot the machine. The machine just keeps shooting and I have this weird download progression line on the screen. Not 100% sure it is the mod, but it only happened when I installed the mod.
Hi trying to install mod with Disrupt Manager, but when i click on install mod, nothing happens, there are no options, it then removed the app, so nothing visible
it's normal, click install and play, it should work, even if nothing happens in Disrupt Manager. If the mods are not working in game, then something is wrong, I put a new tutorial here on main page, if still doesn't work just ask on Discord in the Watch Dogs Modding server, they know everything about it
the mod still looks great even in HDR, since WDL have a pretty decent HDR implementation, as long as the mod didn't tweak too much color grading, it's gonna still look ok.
I combined this with the always storming mod and my god man it looks so good only problem is that the sun comes out while raining which isn't your fault but still pretty.
I haven't tried the mod yet but bonus points for the creator being very receptive and quick on fixes. Definitely going to give this a shot once I install WDL, great work!
