I finally looked into this mod and why it was crashing for people. After lots of experimentation, I genuinely have no idea why. I fully uninstalled the game, wiped all traces of it off my computer, reinstalled it, installed only this mod, and the mod works fine. I cannot reproduce this crash.
I asked another modder, one with a 3000 series NVIDIA card, to test the mod, and it works for them, so it's not related to the flickering sky issue. I'm out of ideas, everything I thought it could be wasn't it. Some suggestions for anyone that crashes with this mod:
- Remove all other mods and see if it crashes. - Do a clean re-install of your GPU driver using guru3D-DDU. - Set all ingame settings in the Graphics tab (not resolution/framerate stuff) to their absolute lowest before heading ingame.
I''ve completed a 100% playthrough of the game as one final test, and there were no issues whatsoever. It's safe to say the issue isn't with the mod, but that's as much as I know.
Hello, This mod is wonderful, there is only 1 problem, the view distance, it is very unplayable like that (for me) and i'm being handicapped by poor view distance in gunfights, is there a way i can only disable the shadows? and keep the og view distance.
Yeah it is a bit low, cool to see yet another person it doesn't crash for, further proving it's a hardware issue. I did a playthrough with it on and while it's not that bad of a render distance, I could leave it alone. I'll probably update this.

UPD: I reinstalled the mod and it worked for 2 seconds and then the game crashed:)
