    After installing this mod with the latest Watch Dogs version and through the Mod Installer, the game become all black and it's impossible to play whereas by replacing the original patch files with those of the mod I can play but there's no changes in the Car on Demand.
    Could you fix it or bring me a solution please ?

      I'm late as hell on this... Kinda shocked no one else replied... Anyways;

      TL ; DR manually merge the items.lib's items.xml to resolve missing definition issues. Then merge and overwrite the items' folders.

      In my case I was merging this mod with another, and it overwrote the "generated\databases\generic\items.lib" file. After unpacking, (via the Gibbed tool); you need to convert both versions of items.lib using "Gibbed.Disrupt.ConvertBinaryObject.exe". Both the version you want to merge with, and the version your merging. This will generate an xml file, and a folder with xmls inside, for both libs. You can then compare the items.xml files and merge them manually (I'd recommend winmerge, or any another diff tool). Then normally you can just merge the items folders and overwrite as needed. Then, run the converter with the "-i" flag, telling it to take the xml and folder and make it a ".fcb" file (which then you can just rename to ".lib" ), pack it up, and you're good to go! Just remember to manually run it via commandline, passing the path to the xml in "quotes", because if you just drag and drop the xml it doesn't work that well...

      The problem I was experiencing was that this mod's items.lib was missing extern definitions for various DLCs and other things my game version(?) and the other mod required. Like "<object external=" DLC.dlc01_SteadyAim.xml" />" , etc.

    To merge this mod with TheWorse mod, you have to download the Gibbed disrupt tool:
    svn.gib.me/builds/disrupt/?C=M;O=D
    (Choose ...37.zip for example)

    Then you create a folder (e.g. Patch) with two subfolders, one for Cars on Demand and one for TheWorse mod.
    Now you put the patch.dat and patch.fat files of each mod in the respective folder, so you have a Patch folder, with 2 subfolders and 2 files in each of them.
    You then have to extract the modding tool. Go to bin and drag the patch.dat and patch.fat file of the mod onto the Gibbed.Disrupt.Unpack,exe file.
    This will create a patch_unpack folder in one of the subfolders you created earlier. In there are the decrypted files of the mod.
    Do this with both files (patch.dat and patch.fat) and both mods.
    So far so good.
    Now you just drag the files of one mod and put them in the respective folder of the other mod.
    Do this with all files.
    When you're completed, take the folder with ALL ! files of the mods and drag it onto the Gibbed.Disrupt.Pack.exe file. This will create a patch.dat and patch.fat file in that folder, which you just have to drag into Watch_Dogs/data_win64.
    That's it, maybe sounds more complicated than it actually is

      First I gotta say that you sadly cannot mod W_D that easy anymore since the last patch.
      They somehow made it un-unpackable o.O
      So you have to delete the patch files in the data_win64 folder, but then you won't be able to play online anymore. I do not even know if modding will work then, so...

      If it does the following might help you further

      The desciption I gave is all I can do so far, it sounds complicated but it actually isn't.
      I cannot make a video, since I do not know how (I don't have software for that)
      This might help with understanding a bit, but the audio is bad :o

      Otherwise I'm out of options for now, sorry

      Kind regards

      It all works for me. The instructions aren't THAT hard... Also I can still unpack the files. Not sure what the problem is.

      Okay, with the help of thebunnyrules' post I was able to unpack the patches (default one and CoD) to merge them.
      I could make a video of that if someone tells me how

      Cheers

      Will this (or any other mods similar to this - with the cars) be available for the DLC as well?

    Is this the creator of this mod/tool. I am extremely hesitant to download something with out clear and concise usage instructions not to mention a link to a video unrelated to the tool its self.

    Than there is a link to;
    svn.gib.me/builds/disrupt/?C=M;O=D

    With no readme file or How-To-Use this tool.txt, are we just supposed to f*** with it till we get it to work?

    They somehow made it un-unpackable [.....]

    I just wanted to put it out there that I was having the same trouble unpacking patch 1.0.4.437 and found that it was because I was missing the Microsoft XNA Redistributable Framework. After installing it, it unpacks like a champ. Hope this helps:
