thanks for your reply, it makes sense what you're saying I think you're right. I have a question this is not related, how can I have nighttime only in watchdogs ? the graphic look very washed out during daytime, and do ou have any performance tips to run the game better ? I can't seem to stop the game from dropping fps especially when I'm driving, thank you again.
thanks for the reply, I have a question if you don't mind: is there anyway to verify that the mods are working correctly together ? I get the watchdogs living city start screen which is a sign that living city is working, but I can't tell if fall of windy city is correctly working as well, thank you for the merge again.
*** EDIT - I answered my own question - included below if anyone wonders in future:
What are the 2 included .dlls from, please?
They don't seem to belong to any of the mods you have listed in your description of what's been merged. At least judging by the file lists available here on NM.
They are flagged by 3 of virustotal's scanners, which isn't evidence of any wrongdoing, of course! But at the same time I'm not happy putting them on my PC unless I know where they're from & can check back to their source mod. If they're leftovers from something else, can they be excluded without affecting the mod?
Thank you for your time.
*** LATER ANSWER - the 2 .dlls are the method by which earlier (pre-May2024) versions of Blowback patch fixed procedural animations for weapons & got weapon slides to 'lock back' when clip empty. dinput8.dll is a .dll loader written by Sad_Gamer, and SlideFix.dll is the blowback fix that it loads. The latest version of Sad_Gamer's blowback patch no longer uses dlls. I've deleted the dlls and used the later version myself, which works with the rest of this nice merge by D3adEagle. That way I'm not using any extra web-sourced .dlls that I can't verify are safe. All good!

But the config.txt file included in this merge mentions the SWITCH SHOULDER script, which the Living City changelog mentions was new in version 2.8.
So I think it must be version 2.8 that has been merged. Don't know if that helps, but hopefully it might!
