Literally removes all the text from the game and the menu. Reverting it back still doesn't help with the fact that theme music is also gone now. Bruh...
The mod worked perfectly with no weird anomalies in menus/in game. However, my game started crashing. I tested this both uninstalled and installed. With the mod not present I can play for as long as i want, installed it lasts roughly 10-15mins and then crashes.
Don't know if anyone else experienced this, I'm on Windows 11 21h2.
Such a shame because, as I said, it worked great and is a real handy mod to use when i only have my DS as a game controller.
EDIT - Redid it on a clean windows installation and no crashes, problem was my end or caused by me, thanks again for the mod.
Hey bro I think I found a way to install this mod, to make this mod work you need the Watch Dogs mod manager, https://www.nexusmods.com/watchdogs/mods/15 here's the link of the mod manager, all you need to do is open the app of mod manger inside the folder (because the app is inside the folder) you need to run it as administrator just in case then after opening the mod manager 2 titles there saying "Watch_Dogs Install Directory" meaning where did you put your game's file and the other one that says "Mod Path" meaning where did you put the ds4 button mod in my way I did put the folder of the ds4 mod inside the mod manager folder but you can put it anywhere and last there are 2 choices under Install directory and mod path it says "Install and Revert" just press the install, then it will automatically install the mod and done you have modded your game.
I download the two files there is no faq or read me , also i put the the first file (patch) in bin folder and replace the old one but never work The other file is UI , where i put this?
Hi. I have followed the steps indicated by README. And the files are in a folder. Once I have finished the steps, what do I do now? Nothing? Can I now play with the PS4 controls?
How did you get it to install without losing the main menu screen?
Like others in the post section here, I cannot get this mod to work without not being able to select New Game, Continue, Options, etc at the game start up
EDIT: Nevermind. I just did it manually and it worked

Now I wish, someone just add this game to Vortex so that I could download and install mods for this game through Vortex.....
Because I tried so much too, but still could not make this mod work.....
That is the reason why I asked the mod creator for Vortex support......
