this is an amazing mod. thank you people for still keeping this game alive ! it is so unique, and still has so much potential in it. never even played WD2 or legion.....
is there a way that I can merge this mod with the "living city" mod. because this one also adds so much content, and it seems like the files over-run each other. much appreciated
i meant the mod installer ,anyway, This is how you do it:
1 - Download the mod installer and extract it somewhere
2 - Download the mod you want to use, in this instance the Living City mod, then download the "loose files" version of this mod
3 - Get the .dat and .fat files from Living City folder, move them to the "bin" folder and then drag and drop the .dat file to "Gibbed.Disrupt.Unpack.exe", wait for it to unpack everything, it might take a while. Once its done you'll have a folder called "patch_unpack"
4 - Go to the extracted "ngmod_251_loosefiles" folder then the "patch" folder inside of it. Grab the contents from it and move them to the "patch_unpack" folder you have previously acquired from the Living City mod .dat file, overwriting everything. At this point you can modify or add anything you wish to your newly created "patch_unpack" folder with the content from both mods. So far i see a couple things maybe missing due to flatout overwriting but then again i am at the very start of the game but the Graphics & UI are amazing & i do have people hacking me & a random event has just appeared so it is at least mostly merged. You have to make sure it is the Next Gen Graphics that is loose files otherwise Living City seems to reset it to default for whatever reason.
5 - Now rename that "patch_unpack" folder back to just "patch", drag and drop it to "Gibbed.Disrupt.Pack.exe" and wait for it to pack everything back into a .dat file (plus the automatically generated .fat file that comes with it)
6 - Now you have the .dat and .fat files with your custom merged content ready to use, you just have to grab and move them to Watch_Dogs\data_win64, you may want to backup the original .dat and .fat files before doing so. And don't forget to put the required "Living_City_MOD_CONFIG.txt" file from the Living_City mod there as well
Not knowing where went wrong, I merge this into living city with lowest needs, but there is always a file went missing, after I enter the game, the headlight of cars got bugged :P I guess it's not possible to do this, or is anyone got a successfully test on this situation?
Can someone help here? My game gets stuck at the "save indicators" screen while launching the game. I used mod installer to install this and living city mods. I'm probably doing something wrong but any help would be appreciated.
Hello, the author of the mod, I’m just blown away by this mod, the graphics have become cool, emotions are overwhelming. It would be great to make graphics like this in watch dogs 2!!!
