Works on windows 11 with proper .net core desktop installer: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-desktop-3.1.32-windows-x64-installer
Sooo anyone have a link to a Save Editor that actaully works in 2023 with Windows 10 and new java, because none of the three on the nexus worked for me after following the instructions
One issue i noticed with this tool is that it doesnt remove the perks, after removing perks from characters and saving the file, when i load back the game the perks are still equipped.
to be clear it doesnt remove the perks for all new recruits not the original 4.
anyway to add ability to remove points. like say I tried to remove a npc perk that made 0 sense on them and now they still have the stupid perk and a free pt? secondly say I wanted to remove the quirk for trinkets so I wanted to reduce 1 stat pt and lose 5 skill pts. something like that....yes I did I want and did these things so Im asking based on my own mistakes.
Just a heads up. Using the editor will remove bonuses gained via skill books (which are basically perks) from your characters. Not sure if you actually have to edit perks for this to happen...

I have WL2dc and the required net core 3.1.8 on Wind11. Any idea what's wrong?
Immediately get an error telling me I need .net core, but I have it and it is the newest version.
Would love to get it working...thanks.

EDIT: and that was with Cheat mode turned OFF.
Even if you remove a perk from the xlm file (whether with the editor or by hand), the removed perk reappears in game nonetheless (?).
So I guess the xml file is mostly the visual presentation, but the bin file also needs to be edited for perks.
