Hey Kids! There is a patching issue with this mod and Micropatches 1.17.6 that will be sorted out. In the meantime to make it work you need to, once per character, go and install v 1.1 of this mod, install Micropatches 1.17.4, load the save, save again, then you can quit and reinstall 1.17.6.
This is working for me on a new save started with micropatches 1.18. Not sure if a mid-game save is working with the previous workaround or not. I'll keep an eye on it and see if we can get the whole thing working like we want it to.
Does this still work with the update to the game? Bcoz I have had it from the beginning and have done the workaround twice on the new game. But, the Random space battles dont occur. The mod is active in my modlist and in the in-game mod manager
Even with the workaround it's still possible to go through a ton of events first. That said, I don't think the workaround always works but I have not figured out what that scenario is yet. My suggestion is to load and save in a few different settings - bridge, planey, star map, and always be sure to save and quit. After a series of these, save and quit again and then go back to the current micropatches. That may help.
If you're just jonesing for ship battles, check out Ravor find me a heretic.
Added mid-game through modfinder and can't trigger any random battle.Don't know what's wrong.I have installed MicroPatches version 1.17.6 through modfinder,should I turn on some experimental functions?
Looks like there's a patching error using this with the latest version of micropatches that didn't get noticed for a bit (the mod's script only fully runs once per save so they can sneak up on you). We'll get the mod back to right soon, watch for an update.
russian translation (without it all text fields will be empty. extract to localisation folder of the mod (or maybe it can be included in next version?)
Very nice mod, I downloaded it with modfinder and I see its active and updated in the list but when i enter the game and look at the list in game with ctrl + f10, i dont see it in there. Is that normal or do I need to edit the json file regardless of downloading it via modfinder.
If I open my json file, I see this: {"$id":"1","SourceDirectories":[],"EnabledModifications":["DPAdeptaSororitasSabbatHelmet","OneHandedStaves","jhColonyProjects","Flamer Fix 2","jhRandomSpaceBattles"],"ActiveModifications":["DPAdeptaSororitasSabbatHelmet","OneHandedStaves","jhColonyProjects","Flamer Fix 2","jhRandomSpaceBattles"],"DisabledModifications":[]}
Im not used to editing or coding so how would I implement your change into this file if it would be necessary to do so. Many thanks!
