Please report any issues with mod loading here. Make sure your mods are up to date (especially after any patch), and pastebin your latest console log for any crash (at %appdata%\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs)
A reminder: Any valid mod will be loaded automatically. The goal of this mod is simplicity and automation.
To disable a mod, disable it in Vortex, prefix its folder with an underscore, or simply move it elsewhere.
Since the last patch this mod appears to cause the game to crash once the character loads into Mourningstar. No idea how and why, deleting the mod and manually arranging the load order file did got the things working again. Fatshark chaos magic, for sure.
Don't know if it's exactly related, but my mods wouldn't load in today, so I dug into the console logs and saw this mod wasn't initializing. Checked the mod_manager.lua. Nothing obvious. Figured a fresh install of the mod couldn't hurt, and, sure enough, it fixed it. YMMV.
Excellent QoL mod, works as advertised - thank you! I haven't played this for about a year, and I was dreading the inevitable RSI from rapid fire CTRL+pasting, but you've saved my fingers the trouble
Starting with a fresh install with no mods, in order I installed DML, then DMF, then AML, and then Sorted Mission Grid just for testing. I got no overwrite prompt from Vortex and there are no rules applied, and mod_load_order.txt remains completely empty but SMG is clearly working. Guess I'll just be thankful, but it is odd.
I'm in the dependencies section, but there is no prompt for resolve conflicts (no red lighting). A bit puzzling, but there seems to be no issues. Thanks for the suggestion; will use in future if needed
Vortex does not prompt to overwrite DML while installing AML. I could combine the two files but that seems to not meet with success. I will try that again.
Tried it, same outcome.
**Update*
I hate it when I cannot figure out how to replicate an issue like this so that you actually have some data to work with if/when this issue repeats. As far as I can tell, redownloaded Mod Framework, Mod Loader and AML. Dropped DML in the game directory but kept a version in vortex for the scripts.
Only thing that I see in-game is that the Mod List when hitting F4 is not alphabetized which I did notice prior to the new content update.

Not sure if this error belongs here, but I just updated the game and all my mods and got this error.
AML does not add entries to mod_load_order.txt - it ignores it entirely. auto_mod_loader_log.txt shows the log.
13:26:52.025 [Lua] [MOD][CustomCrosshairColor][WARNING] (hook_disable): trying to toggle hook that doesn't exist: _sync_active_crosshair
the auto mod loader is puting for the drip before it and the author is saying it needs to go after
An example is listed at the bottom of AML's description tab.
Tried it, same outcome.

In that screen, it should list a conflict between DML and AML, where AML needs to overwrite.
