So after last patch. If I have any mod active, game crashes to desktop on startup. I turn off all mods, game runs. What happened? I haven't changed my mod stuff, other than updating of course.
If I open the file "toggle_darktide_mods" I'll get the error message in an window: "dtkit-patch failed to patch Darktide: Access denied (os error5)". And in the Command Program I'll get the error: Os { code: 5, kind: PermissionDenied, message: "Access denied" } Error patching the Darktide bundle database. See logs.

and had tried running as administrator. Then for shits I tried once to just run it (not as admin) and that worked
Yeah, first time installing on my game and get the same message. Tried both ways, admin and not admin. One says access denied, the other says it cannot find the path. I've followed the reddit guide for installation, my folder matches all the pics precisely. I'm on a gamepass version and am in the content folder. IDK what is going on here.
yep, same for me. gamepass version, i've literally tried everything i have found online, on reddit, and on discord. nothing works. bummer because i was running like 12 mods before the big update just fine
I managed to get it to load, with mods, by re-installing the mod loader and re-running the script, and removing DarkCache. InventoryStats was also giving some errors so I removed that too. Still have an error from Loadout Monitor but I'll leave it for now.
If anyone knows what the deal is with DarkCache please let me know.
Where do you find this "DarkCache", its not a mod i got and i have never heard of it. Nothing came up after i looked for the file or folder.
[FIXED] After some testing i found my problem to be linked to numericUI. After selecting a character the game would load normally until the point where i should spawn in, but at that point the game would crash to desktop.
