I have a weird issue where the spider is immortal for a while, then stops being immortal. I can't figure out why. I made the change myself to the code and it worked perfectly for a whole run through (was stuck and had to quit when I met the laser eye monster), but subsequent play-throughs glitch and start taking damage. Sometimes I'm immortal for a few minutes or longer, then I start taking damage again. I'm running the GOG version in a Wine Bottle, but I don't see how that could be the issue. Any ideas? I thought maybe an upgrade or something I bought after the first immortal play-through was to blame, but now I'm not sure.
I have figured out that the issue is that immortality turns off if I use the up or down dash buttons. Once I dash, I'm no longer immortal. I'll have to go back and look at the code to see if I need to put the immortality code in a different spot; I'm not very good at this. If you have a suggestion I'd appreciate it! Thanks.
Not sure if this will be useful to anyone, but I took the code "this.HealthInternal.IsImmortal = true;" and stuck it after the jump code, the move code, and the dash code. I got tired of trying one at a time so I just pasted it in all three, and maybe some other spots, and so far it fixed the issue. Thanks again for this awesome mod; it makes the game so much more fun for me!
File doesn't open with dnSpy, and I'm hesitant to mash buttons.
I am running the Steam version of Wall World, and am also very computer illiterate. Although I downloaded dnSpy from your link and used "Open With" on the file named "Assembly-CSharp.dll" according to your instructions, there was no reaction whatsoever, and nothing opened up for me.
eu tentei, mas não consegui baixei o arquivo steam e colei no assembler original da minha steam, tentei tbm so adicionar o que você avia dito para adicionar mas não funcionou também, mas a ideia do mod é genial gostei de mais, obrigado por telo feito.
Thank you for providing instructions on how to do it! The game updated, and the mod sadly broke. But I was able to edit the file myself and can go on up or down the wall in peace without needing to trouble you for a new version.
