As far as I can tell this mod doesn't work at all. I tried installing it with vortex and it didn't change anything. I uninstalled it and tried to install it manually, using the readme install directions and it still doesn't do anything. Very frustrating.
just need do once to have it set game will remember next time, i tried to do through all .cfg i could find, non worked, but the console fix did. i have it working with 10.8 and cqm. dont know yet what effect i messed up on cqm but its work in progress to mesh .
Partially works, the Malk has Fortitude after installing this but the other stuff doesn't seem to change, posibly some of the disciplines have zero cost to activate but their durations seem to still suck, I'm looking into trying to make a mod that flat doubles or triples the durations myself, they've always been far too short, annoyingly so.
When I have this mod installed the mouse2 button does not trigger disciplines. tried resetting the button selects, re selecting mouse 2 etc, registers in "select new button" but does nothing in-game
I know its a bit late. I had the same issue. I found that the key binding in the config.cfg, location vtmb\ unofficial patch\ cfg\config.cfg was incorrect. One line was bind "MOUSE2" "vdiscipline" instead of bind "MOUSE2" "vdiscipline_last". Adding "_last" towards the end of bind "MOUSE2" "vdiscipline" resolved my issue.
I had the same problem using the 10.6 version of the unofficial patch. I might try an older version of the UP like 9.6 or something and see if it helps.
So, I know there hasn't been all that much activity, but I just reinstalled the game and wanted to use this mod with the unofficial patch 9.7 After about a day of messing with it I finally figured out how to get it to work. I would like to share it for those who find themselves in the same situation that I did.
The gimmick to getting this to work in the new UPs is to ignore the auto extractor. Either run the auto extractor (the exe file titled something about the readme) in an EMPTY folder (Not the game directory folder), or just open the extractor archive if you have a program that lets you. You will find that the first folder in the extraction is "Vampire". Therein lies the problem. At some point the UP started using a separate folder for it's information. That folder replaces the standard "Vampire" folder. Continue into your newly extracted (or open archive) Vampire folder, copy everything inside it to the UP folder inside your game directory instead of the default Vampire folder.
Seems to work fine for me and the 9.6 patch. One thing to remember is to put all the files in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\Unofficial_Patch" folder or something similar. I think since 9.3 (or maybe always since I'm new to the game) all the patch files are kept in that directory so it is a non-destructive update. So if the files aren't there and you run the Patch shortcut it may load different files and bypass what is needed for this mod.

Your mod has been featured in an article at GOG.com. You can check it out here.

Well, too bad, gonna play without it.
